@peeve1973: Don't exaggerate. This is 3 months. And the price you pay is to get it first. Just like Gold subscribers get some content ahead of Silvers. Just like new games cost more than used. Bioshock is the first 360 game I have ever paid more than $40 for, because I wanted it at release. I don't mind waiting 4-6 months until a title worth owning is the market price I'm willing to pay.

@AnEternalEnigma: Yes, there should be an official guideline for a minimum amount of time, before any DLC can be allowed to drop in price, or be free. Buyers should have exclusive access for a fair amount of time, and be aware what that time is.

grr not again im so p*ssed off that marketplace keeps giving out mapacks for free just a couple of months that i just paid for them,they should tell us when they will become free. Marketplace is a rip off!

Ok, so I buy this for 800 Points (also chapter 2 for GRAW for 1200 points, The price of Chapter 2 is slashed)Now its free, Didnt people who paid for RBV 6 Maps get refunds? For sure if UBI had said 2 months they will become free then I would have waited but unlike Epic they didnt and as such I/We didnt have the same choice, So although its great that there is free content, However refund of some M$ points for us early adaptors?

Great job UBI! Now I'm waiting for Realtime Worlds and Crackdown content...... (crickets)....

And I agree about reductions to old Arcade games. Many games have been out TWO years soon. No entertainment product survives two years on the shelf without reducing except po... well you know.

i agree with what other people said, after so long arcade games should be reduced, i would happily pay half price or so for games like uno, but im not going to pay full, im too stingy, everythingshould be reduced after one year.

They had to make it free because the same maps are free on the PS3. If they were doing it out of the kindness of their hearts, then why wouldn't they have made the GRAW 1 DLC free a long time ago?

Everything should be Free! Why should have to pay for anything? If they are going to give something free later or cut the price, they should tells us the exact date so I can wait until then. Microsoft and their software cronies make so much money now, they should be paying me for using the 360 and associated software. It's BIZ101 folks. Early adopters usually pay a premium. Once the market is saturated, incentives are introduced to stir demand, be it a price cut, freebies, etc... Same basic reasoning Kameo and Call of Duty2 are $29.99 and the recent XBox 360 system price cuts. No one forced you to buy it any price, it was your choice. Think about it, if you wait a few years, you can pick up that XBox 360 for $99 like the PS2 sells for now. In the mean time though, you've lost out on playing the games on it now. That's the value you receive and price you pay. It's called Opportunity Cost... Sure it hurts, when you just made a buying decision just before a promo or price cut, but that pricing behavior is everywhere (cars, houses, apartments, weekly Target Ad, etc...).

really this should of been free all along .. don't put out 1/2 a game then rip everyone off with download content .. let people make there own mods like the computer games where .. computer games are cheaper to buy and you get free stuff .. this is a total rip off ....
