Now its sad that Larry have to put a Disclaimer within his great posts. I for one fully understand the 'legal' terms of this and thank you for continueing to pass all of the LIVE members feedback to the appropriate people.

sorry but are the *asterix* suppossed to make us feel any different.....

its not content were being shafted on its bloody competitions now, i seriously dont know why you dont just make the entire xbox usa only....

still appalling astrix's or no astrix's

you tell me if the moaning or your "telling" them is gonna make a slight bit if difference then it may be worth telling us, otherwise were still getting shafted.

oh and ill tell you what, why not lets all hold us breath and wait for a "europe" only competition....at least then we would have all died and couldn't moan anymore.....

the US only list just continues to grow every single day....

hold on ive got an idea just so you know just how much we are being shafted each day for the same price,

why not, lets make a list of "EUROPE" only content, and compare it to a "USA" only content, that would make interesting reading.

The POINT I was making about Halo 3 beta is that the US had tons of chances to get into the beta however Bungie gived a few 100 beta invites to community websites in the UK that is unfair, after all all around the world will be playing the game in September not just the US, we play with the USA most times you find yourself in a game where the most of the players are from the US so it would have been better to get everyone in the beta etc... To be Fair and have the same amount of players in each of the countries.

You must think you are smart, well you are NOT.

And it feels like 1/1000ths and we get hardware and games late all the time and these drop the $ and add the £ to prices.

The Halo 3 beta was poorly handled in Europe by Microsoft, but you can see why. There are too many local Xbox.com sites to hand out the beta invites in a fair manner.

So instead they went with giving them out to local community websites - seems like a good idea on paper but it made it difficult to get in.

I do hope that MS realises now that they failed to give people a fair opportunity to access the Halo 3 beta in Europe.

But if you look at things closely, you'll see we do get most of the things that the US gets. They might come more slowly, but all of the important things (i.e. games) get here. We're getting the Video Marketplace before the end of the year.

If you made a list of things, it would be nowhere near "1/1000th"

It's a problem with most companies, they have worldwide divisions and those divisions take a while to catch up with offering/changing the products that they offer. With things like the Xbox 360 Elite, they have to wait for enough stock to be produced before they can expand.

I have to say as a European I completely understand why this *competition* is USA-only. Companies do this all the time - do you complain when there are special promotions for a new movie but only in Europe? Besides this there are numerous legal reasons for making a contest region-specific, different countries have wildly different laws regards contests and gambling so to offer the same competition to the whole world is often impossible. I am indeed annoyed with region-specific content on XBLMarketplace, but I don't think this is a time to moan about that sort of thing - this is a totally different situation.

Dont quote me, I didnt have any complain with Larry or Microsoft I was just stating that it was sad that Larry had to do this because all the moaning outside of the USA members have beening doing from the start.

If Microsoft or 3rd parties do not want to play by our rules then boycott them simple as that, then they will not have enough money to do USA only.

It will really need everyone other the the USA to boycott them and then 1 + 1 is omg the others dont like when we just have US only comps etc lets open it out to all.

Even Bungie, Microsoft did not give us comps remeber www.halo3.com you could get in the Halo 3 beta but it was only USA only and then Mothers and Fathers day USA only.

The only reason why I got a xbox is to play Halo 2 and then the ONLY reason why I got a xbox 360 is you guested it Halo 3. If it was not for Halo then Microsoft would loss nearly everyone.

And then the case of replace pro systems in the states getting HDMI ports, maybe its a lie or its true who knows, but we dont get an 1/1000th of the stuff the states get.

Larry please talk to someone at having over the next few months a few 100 comps and themes etc for outside the US.

A Gran Turismo 5 "Prologue" (read: demo) is coming out, and one of the features they are boasting is called Gran Turismo TV.

Didn't PGR3 have something like that 2 years ago?
