oh, and another thing... we dont buy as an excuse: "Not all governments are the same. Laws are different. Regulations are different. Cultural preferences are different." That is Negligence. Because you're doing it the wrong way around. What you should be doing is to leave all regions unrestricted (open, available), and to start restricting those regions in which you guys are sure there are regulations and laws... But no... what you're doing is leaving open the 2 or 3 countries you know you are Safe... AND RESTRICTING ALL THE OTHERS!! that's just MICROSOFT being LAzY! and dont wanting to do a little extra work, work for which they're being paid for.... who's with em on this?

Why does latinamerica have such discrimination? (yes it's just that ugly word) Xbox live should be about joining people together, around the world. And what is doing, is differentiate us much more. We have to live in the US to enjoy benefits we should have, because we're paying for a service, and we can't enjoy game content with fellow players because we live in a country that is not the US (or a few select others)?? That's DISCRIMINATION, sorry to say that.

We should have the same benefits as other paying people, just because we aren't a big market like the ones you're giving the update to, doesn't mean we're worth NOTHING, because you're just showing that to us. Please, show some respect to us. Thank you.

well Vegaprime... what can we do now? nobody's paying attention to us. Ive tried everything. Emails to xbox support is worthless. Nelson hasnt answered for a while (he didnt say anything on his couple of replys either). what can we do now? should we go to the press with this? think they'll hear us?

Christian, my comment wasn´t meant as a personal attack to Major, as I have a lot of respect, not only for him, but for all the work he has done on Live as well. It´s just a statement of the truth.

Another statement of the truth is that the Xbox Live service as "global community" (as it was sold) simply became a "fractured community", with that kind of content restriction.

Not only me, but lots of gamers have stated that yes, we do understand why the Videomarketplace was blocked and we´re fine with that, but blocking game content "avaliable worlwide" is unnaceptable for paying members.

I feel specially cheated, as I´m a paying subscriber of Live since the original Xbox. I believed in the global community vision Microsoft "offered" with my subscription and that´s not what I´m getting.

Yes, I have the option to cancel my subscription, but I also have the option to ask to be respected as a Customer. I prefer the second option.

hehehe... VEGAPRIME... chill out a bit, we all feel your frustrations, but its not Nelson who you have to take them all out on! give him a chance to express himself. We dont know if he's totally in charge, and if he's the one who gives the orders, so go easy on him... maybe he's just trying to help. He wouldnt have a web page like this if he wasnt.

If he knew how we paying customers feel, he would have done something on the spot, as he is one of the people that would be able to solve that problem. Really annoying how Microsoft can bill us for Live, but when we need to download something interesting, we get blocked.

I live in The Bahamas 30 minutes away from the USA so I turned on my xbox360 to download the hidden fronts map pack it said "This content is not available from your current location ". I was disappointed by this because I would believe I live so close to the USA and it is saying my location isn't valid. I have an idea how about you just add the caribbean to the United States Region and The Americas . I love xbox live but I am looking forward to halo 3 but now it looks like this will happen to those maps and features also.

What do you mean by that? We all are Xbox LIVE gold members. We wouldnt be complaining about multiplayer gaming maps, if we werent.

The whole thing about country listings is irrelevant. They know! They know is all of Latin America but Mexico. They know is tons of countries in Europe (Greece, Iceland, Finland, Scotland, Hungry are amongst the countries of ppl ive talked to, so you can imagine how much more). And don’t even begin to think about Asian Countries. This is a Big Problem!! Because you’re not giving service to paying costumers.

If by this you mean, you already talked to your ppl.. We thank you very much, and can you tell us if you think something is going to be done about this?

I have passed a lot of info to you, please check your private messaged and email. It would be great if you dedicate a small portion of your show to this issue. I was thinking of going to the folks in G4 and gamespot with this. But i always thought is wiser to ask you for help first.

We need feedback on this problem. We cant be out on the open.
