It wasn't even a full week, and Halo stole away Gear's top spot. Bout time, Gears sucked in multiplayer. Glad to see Halo where it belongs.

Bioshock only has Live for DL Content reasons, it shouldn't even be counted. GoW multiplayer blew ass, I traded the game in after I beat it on insane, not worth playing again. Halo 3 I will be playing until the next x-box comes out, even as new games are emerging. I played Halo 2 in the same fashion. .....and to the person who said f**k Halo..... f**k YOU! Halo kicks ass!

It's pretty sad that you're bashing one of the greatest games in this gen and still the best looking, most technologically advanced at that.

Sure it's a privilege we "xbots" have these days, pick of the litter. But in no way does Gears deserve your hate. Let the PS3 fanboys bring the hate for both games, and theres plenty.

I personally still prefer gow mp over anything on the consoles, its just so fresh and kick ass, even with ALL the HORRENDOUS faults and glitches (for that, Epic, the Multiplayer Company, deserves a beating).

I'm very unimpressed by Halo3 MP but I've always been (as it has barely changed). Forge has promise but when 400 000 players are playing ranked slayer and 2000 on custom games its not looking good.

Maybe now Cliffy B will see fit to fix the multiplayer achievements in Gears from just counting ranked matches. Then, maybe then, I will go back to Gears.

Is that just games played period? It can't be games played over LIVE as Bioshock has no multiplayer.

I was on late last night (around 3am Pacific) and there were 551,101 people playing Halo 3 online.

I can't think of any other game EVER that can boast that many simultaneous players besides World of Warcraft.
