That's great that those audio diary walkthroughs for BioShock are free. I still got to go looking for those. Been putting it off for a while. So, I may use these videos to help me out. Should have been done for Gears of War COG walkthrough too. BradyGames sometimes charge and sometimes don't. Saints Row ones are free too.

Yeah, I've also noticed that Xbox.com is slow to the maxxxxxx. I have Comcast which gets about 16MBPS in speed tests, so its definitly Microsoft, not me. I've been saying and saying and saying it. There has been something seriously wrong with Xbox Live ever since Halo 3 came out, and something needs to be done.

I love how MS is just ignoring the issues of the horrible and slow service of LIVE since the Halo 3 launch. Back in the old XBOX days, everything was SMOOTH and I don't EVER remember one day where I could not connect to the service and they took the system down only twice a year for maintainence.

You start adding all these videos and other crap people don't want.. and the service goes to ***. PSN has all the same stuff for free, except for downloadable movies, but I have yet to use that type of service.

Once again.. why are we paying for service? I've been with XBL since 2002.. 1 of the original 5,000 beta testers.. and it's sad to see XBL slowly rotting to an inconvience to have for online play.

Funny... XBL is down, yet the Playstation Network is up.

So.. why are we paying for service? I think I'll go play some PSN for the night until all this crap gets figured out.. sigh...

Also, before this but over the last few weeks anyone notice xbox.com "My Xbox" or friends list taking forever to load? Takes forever to send people messages from xbox.com too. Same goes for dashboard when signing in, viewing XBLM content, and other net related items on the xbox. I wonder how much worse it is going to get before someone acknowledges it or they fix it. I have never been one of those that gets bent out of shape over an outage here or there but consistent slow service is pretty bad. If this lastest outage goes for a while I wonder if they will give everyone a free day to make up for it.

Lastly, how much are people willing to bet that if it crashes now it will be completely dead on Christmas day?

This is wierd... sometimes we can sign in, sometimes not. I can't wait to hear what E has to say about this... it'll be interesting to see what's causing it.

It's still actin funny for me (Houston, TX area) It signs me out when I play a game, but I can log myself back in and go online. Also Computerdude103, you really want your $2.10 back for the 15 days you couldn't get on? That's just silly..

I'll be the first to complain about how terrible Microsoft is at keeping their service online, but for those having DRM issues while XBL is down. If you just call MS customer care they will give you back all of the Microsoft points you have spent on the games if you are having the DRM issues. You can then re-download them (or whatever different games you want), and your DRM issues will be taken care of. I've done it, as have EGM, OXM, and hundreds of other people. Don't know why the major doesn't talk about it.

Wow you people are terrible. Despite your frequent crashes over the past few months you still refused to prepare for the increased traffic. I can only imagine what the service is going to be like after Christmas with tons of new people signing on. I hope you plan on crediting my account for the past 15 days over the past year that I have been unable to use the XBL that I'm paying for.
