This feature doesn't even work properly. I've been trying to buy my nephew 1000 points since Christmas Eve, and I always get the "technical difficulties" error. This is a complete waste of time.

One of my friends apparently sent me my points, but I have yet to recieve anything. Do I get an email or anything like that? He got charged and I'm pretty sure no points were added to my account.

I gifted 1000 points to a couple of good LIVE friends... they weren't sure where it came from, but when they got the email I got calls... They reallllly liked that... funny.

Hey Major, Thanks for the Link! It's a great idea, but just to reiterate what others have said, It would be great if you could "Gift" other Items in Marketplace. I have a nephew I would like to send Bomberman Live, or Lumines to. It might even be handy to have a gift sent with redeemable codes for specific games, since you may already have the infrastructure in place for codes for Arcade titles that are bundled with other items, like the arcade stick with codes for free games, and just send message to the gamertag with the code in the message.

microsoft fix your stuff. i tried to buy my brother (also a us account like mine) and when i get to the part when i type in his windows live id, it says verifying user and then just craps out. "we are experiencing technical difficulties" or some garbage like that. frustrating, as i am trying to give you my money.

Major, I'm having some problems with it. I've tried to buy points from my friend on three different browsers, several different times since yesterday. I keep getting an error that there is a problem.

Any help?

Hi Major, having a lil issue with the Blade Runner hd-dvd. It plays great & looks & sounds amazing but it wont allow me to be signed into xbox live when it's playing, this is the only hd-dvd ive had this problem with. It's asked me to do an update which ive done but still won't allow me to be signed in when watching it.. Anyone else with this prob?

Nice. Got my girlfriend some points for her account. Wish there was some kind of recognition that you got points as a gift and who got them for you when the giftee signed on. But I wasn't really expecting it. She loved it, tho. No long codes to type in :)

John Q Taxpayer,

There is no such thing as "Free" Online Gaming. Everything costs money, and if you cannot afford $4.17 a month to play on XBOX Live, then how did you manage to purchase a 360?

But who am I to judge? If you want 20 different friend codes, nobody to watch out for people using cheat devices while playing online, and game consoles that cost so much that you'll want to work a second job in order to own one, then do so, and you get your "free" Online Gaming.
