Major, For once I thought you had missed a release. :) Of course, I realize that this time of year certainly leads to delays in information (as you've reported earlier, you're now going through your pre-end-of-the-year phase and all) being handed out. Anyway, I downloaded the demo last night and played it and I enjoyed it. The only thing I didn't like was having a severely limited inventory. I was kicking so much butt, I had to leave behind so many weapons and items because I just couldn't carry all my loot. LOL :D I'm definitely getting KUF:CoD when it comes out the week of January 8th. Well, Happy New Year to you and the rest of the Xbox / Microsoft crew!

On the ratings complaints, nobody likes to be told they can't do something. I'm sorry to the 17 year olds who can't download something that's rated for 18 year olds, and for the 20 year olds that are not allowed to drink until they're 21. Sorry for their disappointment, but I still agree with the ideas of age restrictions. I, for one, used to hate being forced to order off the kids' menu at restaurants :) Think of it another way: I have a Live account and I have one for my 14 year old son. If he could buy whatever content he wanted and download whatever he wanted, he wouldn't have his own Live account. Period. Microsoft is doing the industry a huge favor by enforcing age restrictions. If the major players like MS and Sony don't take ratings seriously and enforce them, neither will anyone else, and the government would eventually step in and make a bunch of out-of-date restrictions like the movie industry currently deals with. In my opinion the ESRB does a MUCH better job of rating content than the MPAA (not sure how that correlates to countries outside the U.S. but the idea is the same). As a child, you'll want to do everything with no restrictions. If you get your wish you're going to be hit by real life like a freight train when you find out how many boundaries there are in life. Learn to live with them and respect them, and where appropriate, try to change them, but don't sit around and complain about them. It's just a waste of everyone's time.

Major, please make this demo avalible for Brazil. I work in a game Tv program here, and we cant stand talks with publishers, and only ways to play and talk about the new coming relases is playing the demos. But my region cant play this demo. You can even think a little about us?

¿This Demo is in Spanish and can´t download by marketplace of Europe?

I not understand nothing with the politic of Xbox Live and developers/companies.

I one day and other and other having apologies with xbox live Gold.

I love the Xbox Live of Xbox, no Xbox 360.

This demo sucks, but i need to address all the people whining: 1. If you're not 18, you can't play the demo. That's not Microsoft's problem. Blame the ESRB and Jack Thompson for instating a rating system on demos. 2. Europe, shut up, you guys know you always get the content eventually, now go play some SWOS and cream yourselves. 3. Silver members - GO BUY A GOLD SUBSCRIPTION. It's $40 at Newegg.com for 13 months. That's a pretty good deal. Oh, and you get to play online too. 4. People in general - stop complaining on MN's blog, all he's doing is posting updates to the community. Not addressing every single one of your issues. It sucks to go through 50 comments and only find 7 that are relevant to the topic at hand.

Some people need to really stop complaining like little girls and get over themselves.I understand being upset about the age limitation problems plauging some, but beyond that the ammount of biatching has made this site seem more like a site dedicated to PMS than to 360/XBL.

Status reports for XBL are over at Xbox.com and wouldn't make sense here since not all of 360 owners ae both online,use XBL, and know of this site.I feel bad for Major Nelson as this site has grown into nothing more than a whiner's hangout.Some of you really need to get a life and stop expecting personal explanations as to why somethign on XBL isn't to "YOUR" particular liking.Alot of people really need to get over themselves.

That's funny, I living in Poland (there is no officially Xbox Live support) so everyone have to sign up on fake addresses etc.

And now MS starting to ban people for breaking the rules of XL policy... because you not living in country with you sign up, this is real MADNESS.

OMG LOL seriously? i downloaded it about a week ago so it worked for me. Microsoft you just give me more and more reasons everyday to hate you. do you like being hated?

lets see, when the uncharted demo was released in the u.s it was accidentally region locked and didn't work on pal consoles. A day later they fixed it. lol

Can you tell us in the UK why we pay more for Xbox Live please? Because I've not seen any evidence yet. Today live is down for me, I can't sign in, I can't rent 300, thats a sale of the 2000 points I was going to buy so I could purchase SWOS too. BUt I've just noticed I can't play any of the games I've paid for, apprently they're all trials now...

What could you possibly gain from blocking users from using their content offline? I don't remember the information box under the games saying anything about the game being only playable with a live connection.

So basically when LIVE is down which it is tonight, 6th time this week, I can't play my games yet again. Pathetic. I expect more. I'm bitterly disappointed with your quality of service as of late Microsoft. I am in now way bitching or moaning, I am just declaring how sad it is that measures you've taken to stop pirates or whatever, have just screwed me over instead, a legit paying customer. :(

Nope.

They foolishly took that away too. I tried to download the Operation Darkness demo from Japan yesterday and was told it's not available in this region. Didn't have any problem downloading The Club demo from the UK on my PS3 though,nor did I have to wait a week.
