I saw the whole show... I thought they had some things to announce, you know, except being able to download Dances with Wolfes on XBLM !!! LOL

Cool stuff about Smart Phone technology at least...

WHAT ABOUT ZUNE, MAJOR? How could link to iTunes yet not have something for us who us the competing product of the company YOU WORK FOR!? Zune has podcasts too, you know!

I watched this LIVE via Micrososft's CES page and it was very entertaining. I liked the Bill Gates "last day" video, that is probably what will happen(haha). And the unveiling of some new products was pretty exciting. All and all, Bill Gates last and final CES keynote as the person in charge of Microsoft went out with a bang. I wish Bill Gates the best of luck in future projects.

I was hoping for HD DVD news, much like a lot of people here. BUt the keynote was great either way.

I don't think Microsoft will put a blu ray drive in at this point, firstly, remember when the new model Sony tv's wouldn't do full HD on a Xbox 360? Thats what the TV's do, imagine what the player might do! And then think about it logically, Sony owns BR, if this drive is released it will be on their biggest competitors console, it won't be good for Microsoft to hand money over to their competitor like that on each sale, would it.

an arcade game that wont work isnt the answer. a free month for all gold gamers is.

also, google "facebook + cia" =P $15 million provided by the pentagon for distributed-web data mining. its not a good idea.

Just imagine if MS was actually HOSTING the games we play like on any PC game with multiplayer. Live would have gone belly up when Gears came out. :(

I think its time for MS to consider setting up regional live operations centers so only one continent at a time can bomb like this, and maybe it wouldnt take 30 seconds to load gamertag graphics and icons from an EU mainland service.

Wicked, enjoyed the Keynote. When your there see if you can get anymore info on the iptv with BT, their V-Box they currently use needs a aerial input to get the freeview channels.. something the 360 has not. Will that mean a new iptv console or just an adapter.. or even streaming freeview to the console. Any info would be awesome on how this is all gonna work! Have fun in Vegas mate

Wow, no comments about HD DVD, and yet more talk of Digital Delivery. I think we need to hear an official MS response to the Warner blow.
