I'm shocked, but happy, to see Gears still in top 5. It is a good game (though COD4 gets an 11 out of 10 in my book...) It's actually quite amazing for being out over a year now. I can see Halo3, COD4, and Gears continue to dominate the Live bandwidth for a while...I'd be willing to bet that all 3 stay in the top 10 through at least June of this year. With all the new Live users over the holidays, you gotta think that COD4 and Halo3 weren't the only games to sell big...wonder how many copies of Gears were picked up for the first time?

@HD Beamy "how can everything else be were u thought it would be if u thought mass effect would be higher surley u would have had to thnk something would be lower for mass effect would be higher" I said I hoped not that I thought Mass Effect would be higher up. Anyway its fairly simple to guess what was going to be in the top spots. number 1, 2, 6, 7 and 8 havent changed places at all and the games in numbers 3 and 4 have only changed places. And the games in slots 5 and 9 where demoes so there wasnt any real chance of them staying in the charts. And of course Fifa 08 was going to come into the charts with such high sales. But lets not argue about this anymore okay. :)

Omega Five is a fantastic game (I don't know why it's getting such a bad rap in the press) so I'm pleased to see that it's doing so well.

Good sales for Omega Five :) That game is good... Although Ikaruga will be better :D

3rd for Tron??? I thought it was a really bad game, and worse emulated :S

Halo 3 still has about 300,000-400,000 daily users on at a time. Call of Duty 4 has still yet to break 100,000. It's sad, but it'll probably never take it over.

Rock Band seems to be doing well after being a no-show for a while... that can only get better once individual instruments are available and folks can get the drums and the game on its own.

Sorry COD4 fanboys, face the fact that a game that has sold more then 6 million copies on the Xbox 360 alone, against a game that has sold 4 million copies on multiplatorm, probably isn't going to beat that said game.

Are people really giving this post a low star rating because CoD 4 is still getting beaten by Halo? It's at 1 1/2 stars right now...

Over the short amount of time that I had GHIII rented I couldn't get the online to work, maybe Live was having some issues? I'm loving Rock Band online though...

Hum, Guitar Hero III ranked third. Am I the only one that thinks Guitar Hero III's online is a little disappointing?
