Hey Major, I know you feel strongly on the subject of stuff being free on another platform then it should also be free on 360 too. Well, you'd better check out The Club when it hits your shores next week, it's just come out in the UK and you have to be a Gold member to be able to view the Leaderboards. How lame is that ? Oh, for the record - PS3 users do not have to pay a penny to view leaderboards in The Club. I know this is wrong. Gold is for multiplayer access and earlier premium content only, it even says this on Xbox.com. Please get in touch with Bizarre Creations or SEGA and get this fixed asap. Excluding the majority of Live members (Silver) just because they don't want to pay to be racially abused and have their IQ lowered by idiots from around the globe from Leaderboard access is wrong. Please do something if you can. This could start a worrying trend and result in alienating the majority of your consumer base.

Major, if the 360 shortages are because of "increased holiday demand" as MS has told us, then we is it when I go to Amazon.com and look under product description for every SKU it says. Discontinued by manufacturer: YES.

Does that mean we are going to see 360 lite/slim models coming out since the current models have been discontinued?

I'm having problems downloading the show. I've tried to download it through iTunes and from the main page and each time it gets stuck at 18.2 of 50.0 MB and stays there. Any suggestions?

Great show as ever, Major, thanks. Nice to see that youare finally starting to pop up on XBL in the UK now as well. About flippin' time! I mean, AceyBongos is a nice enough guy, but we never hear from him apart from the occasional block of text:D

JAnyway, just two tiny podcast related things: the sound is much better now, well played that man. But the encoding seems to have left little popping sounds all through it as people speak - nothing major (no pun intended!) but it's like having a sore tooth - after a while you can't ignore it!

Also, you spelled Frankie's name incorrectly - O'Connor ;)

Anyhoo, keep the good stuff coming, it's appreciated.

What's to avoid? HDDVD is dead, move on. I've got the add on and about 10 titles, including Planet Earth. I knew going in it might be a waste and only bought discs if the were really cheap. I also have a collection of Laser Discs with no player. On the other hand I have hundreds od vinyl LPs and a working turntable, when I get in that retro mood. Beta lost, and it was the "better" format, now Sony wins one with the inferior format. What goes around...

I am always a few weeks behind listening to the show, it seems I couldn't comment on the "Garage Band experiment" post anymore. I really liked the enhanced feed. It worked flawlessly on my iPhone. I was able to skip around in the episode very easily and effectively. Thanks for giving it a try. I think the only way to move multiple parts of a track in GB is to use a shift click. Do you have other ways to make an enhanced podcast outside of GB? I would love to see more enhanced versions.

I understand that some people had trouble with it playing on their iPods. I was able to use it with the latest update on an iPhone and iPod Nano 3g no problem. Hope you have time to find another way to produce an enhanced version. I know other podcasts will take the mp3 and use tools to insert the Pics/Chapter markers, you could even use Garage Band to convert into an AAC. (probably want to put a wav or AIFF instead of an mp3 because of the compression) Then you could have two feeds one enhanced and one old MP3.

I am always a few weeks behind in listening, it appeared I couldn't comment anymore on the "enhanced experiment" post. I really enjoyed the enhanced podcast. It worked really great on my iPhone. I could jump around very quickly and effectively to different portions of the podcast. I hope you won't give up on trying it again. That's really cool that an older computer can still be productive with all the current technology. I think the only way to grab multiple pieces of a track with Garage band is with a Shift Click. That would be a cool feature to have, You can use Garageband > Feedback.

I understand some people had issues with their iPods with that feed. That's a bummer, it worked really well for me and I hope to see it back soon!! Keep up the good work.
