I would like to see CasinoGuy go down in a big way. Look at his games and you will see that since he stopped hacking he can barely do anything. All his games are made from saves on 360gamesaves and the rest he pays people to do for him by glitching or saving. JCnet has some interesting information on him so ask him about CasinoGuy.

Hey i hear that StripClubDJ has been really mature about it, he says that he's glad Microsoft caught him, because now he wants to see all the other cheating gamers nailed. Intresting response too, I wonder how he feels, knowing that so many people know his name just because of what he did. I can picture people across the world sitting in front of their computers reading about what he did doing the shame gesture.

This is an odd move, I do wonder what the monetary cost of doing such a thing was. Seeing as Gamerscore is a hollow thing and has no real relevance to anything and as such is worth nothing I do wonder why MS is dedicating time to this instead of more serious issues. Gamerscore is really just a way for gamers to thump thier chest and say "look at how good I am" but really remember, that there is someone better than you. The idea of 'levelling' the playing field is also absurd, it's not like we're competing for gamerscore...it isn't worth anything. Levelling the playing field would be getting devs to fix the glitches and exploits in thier online play so that people playing against others are not exploited. Also I doubt this would do anything to really curb gamerscore cheating, people who want to cheat always find a way.

You can be sure that the people behind the scenes have all sorts of data about what/when/how every achievement was earned, and that they've got a solid method for finding the cheaters. A 20,000 GS, for example, isn't going to raise flags if achievements were earned at a relatively even pace. If you got 10,000 of those overnight, well...maybe they'll take a closer look. :-)

Also, I'd bet there are well-known patterns among cheaters, i.e. the same games and same achievements tend to appear in groups on cheater accounts. Or whenever the latest "release" of cheater techniques for a new game hits the street, all the cheaters seem to magically pick up the same set of achievements the next day.

If you're a regular gamer who has worked hard to get a high gamerscore, you have no need to worry. And of course those of us with lame gamerscores don't even get noticed...

What plans in the future do you have of people cheating to get online achievements ?

Example : Hey can you join my game I need the 2 in a row head-shots achievement .

This is cheating as well and needs to be stopped and you CAN COUNT ON ME TO REPORT IT ANYTIME I SEE IT .

All you cheaters with the nerve of posting on here are just LOL .

LETS GET SOMETHING STRAIGHT HERE , ONCE AND FOR ALL .

Big deal they get a cheater tag .I play cod4 i have seen players go out of the map and shoot you which is called glitching they cant be killed or seen and now they pretty much get a slap on the wrist i think their should be warnings up to being banned from xbox live for this.Its not fair for the rest of us that is playing fair I think xbox should look into more of this cheating than the gamer score cheating no one cares about gamer scores anyway but the live online cheating in the games they do.The only way to stop online cheating is to get strict on the punishment, banning the player from a few days to months to a year and permanent if they continue.This is the only way its going to make it fair for the rest of us and make it more fun for all

No, he cant do what he wants with it... when you sign up to an account on xbox live you enter into an agreement with the terms and conditions, AND agree to abide to the code of conduct.

So what happens when Microsoft gets it wrong?

I mean c'mon, it's not like Xbox Live has always been the most dependable service out there. Ask anyone who recently got their Halo 3 saves jipped, or anyone who has gotten a system bricked because they downloaded one of the semi-annual updates, or any of the other numerous problems over Live that has been caused by the service. I personally have not had any of these problems (well, I did get a bricked system from an update a year ago, which Microsoft was kind enough to rectify the problem), but what happens when Microsoft gets it wrong and start screwing up the accounts of people who have not been cheating?

Everyone is celebrating now (as if Achievement points were the most important thing on Earth), but I see a lot of people here with 20,000+ and 30,000+ points, what if one day some of you woke up to find your scores were mistakenly reset to ZERO and you've been permanently branded as a cheater? What recourse does Microsoft give to the end user who may have gotten burned by mistake? That's what I would like to hear about.

It's nice and all that they are making the extra effort to catch cheaters. Kudos! But still, what are they doing to protect users from when they make a mistake?

I'm just curious as to how they will determine who cheated and who got their score legitly. My boyfriend and I have worked hard to get where we have with our gamerscores (legitly of course). I just would hate to see people who don't cheat get their scores put to 0. How will they prevent that from happening? Or are they going to go through and look at the people who have like 200,000pts? (I'm sorry but to me that's kind of fishy). I've had xbl for a long time and I only have 13,000, my boyfriend has 20,000. He plays more games that I do obviously, but 200,000 c'mon, thats just insane. I would just hate to see people like my boyfriend and I get their scores put to 0 when we worked so hard to achieve them.
