You, mister poster, are an idiot. I love both. It has nothing to do with "making up my mind". It's not the same thing as voting for a political candidate, they're video games! There's no possible reason why a person can't love both. In fact, there are many games I really like a lot. That doesn't mean I "hate" some other game.

That's just stupid. I suppose if you're still a kid, it might matter to you. But, when you get older, you buy games to, um, have fun. Not to "vote" for which one is more awesomer!!

Call of Duty will prove to be a fad, wait and see. Notice what the top Xbox title is, after four years? Uh huh. Halo has incredible staying power-once people max out on their COD4 ranks, they'll turn away.

Besides, look at the sales figures. Halo was the best selling game of 2007-sorry, Activision, I know you can't seem to count-and it will reclaim the Live spot.

the only reason cod 4 is number one is because of its sales; it was the best selling game of both Jan and Feb, which means there're a bunch of new users who are probably just gettibg into cod's multi-player. 95% of people who wanted Halo bought it at launch, so its freshness has had more time to die down and only the hardcore fans are still playing, while there are still a lot of people getting cod multiplayer through their system.

The real reason I dont play halo is because I dont want to encourage game developers to get lazy and release a sequel thats just an expansion pack of previous games. Halo 3 is just like Halo 2 except for a few new guns and maps. Thats also why i didnt buy GH3 or R6V2.

Furthermore, my prediction is that Halo 3 will NEVER again be #1. Why? The reasons are obvious...free maps on H3 didn't dethrone COD...Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 didn't dethrone COD4 (by stealing away its users and allowing H3 to take #1 again), and furthermore in just a few short weeks GTA IV will come along PERMANENTLY putting H3 in 2nd place AT BEST...

If possible, numbers would be great. Trying to find a Halo 2 game on Xbox is not easy. I recently picked up Counter-Strike, and can't find anything showing the community that remains around the game. Of course, just getting a 360 kind of puts the idea out of my head at the moment.

Who do so many people to love one game have to hate the other? I love BOTH Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3. Play them both regularly. I like Star Trek and Star Wars. I read Marvel and DC Comics. I laugh at Looney Tunes and Disney. To divvy up media for no reason is just denying yourself some great entertainment.

LOL to all the people who say Halo takes more skill. Halo takes more bullets, thats it. Some people don't like to unload a full damn clip into someone then rush towards them while you are reloading and hit the melee button. So it doesn't take more skill. It takes more bullets. They are both great games, but as the numbers clearly show. COD4 FTW!
