Hey wait a minute just because the xbox is american doesnt mean you can discriminate against British where is our Lost, Family Guy and South park seasons. Just because they are american doesn't mean we shouldn't get them i mean come on ages ago what was that free game you guys in the States got Aegis wing was it? theres 200G to be got but we have to pay for it!! So afterall this your telling me i have to move to USA just to get my favourite show lost on my xbox. .....DAM!

What's with Scrubs? My TiVo messed up with the first post-writer's strike episode two weeks ago, and that episode has not yet made it onto XBox Live yet. Is there a reason this? I hope it's an oversight, and not due to the fight between NBC and ABC over the show.

Two words : Bit Torrent.

It's legal and it is free, unless you live in the USA.

And you have access to more movies and tv-series than Microsoft & Sony could possibly deliver.

Thank god we don't have a Video Marketplace in my region.

Because seeing that list makes me glad I can download movies and series at any time for free without having to worry about MS disabling access to content I have already paid for.

This has nothing to do with 'stupid' licensing, but with the greed of both the media-corporations and Microsoft.

Seriously ... It IS LEGAL TO DOWNLOAD MOVIES and MUSIC for FREE in the Netherlands.

Don't let Americans tell you otherwise.

Everyone in other countries who don't have marketplace yet: You're missing NOTHING. Terrible selection and so overpriced it's ridiculous. It's almost twice the price of a dvd rental here in Canada, and your time is very limited in which to view your marketplace rental. Most of my American friends think it is terrible as well, and they are the ones with all of the content. A truly awful service, and I suspect that unless they drop their prices to a reasonable level and increase their selection signifigantly, the majority of users will migrate to a different service (particularly in the next console generation). They really dropped the ball on this one.

Thank you for rubbing salt in the wound by posting a list of "this is what everyone else is enjoying on XBox Live....except you!"

Please share with us what the XBox team's plans are for the roll out of this and other Live features to regions other than the US/UK so that we can stop complaining and have some kind of time frame other than "some time in the future" to work off.

I would be extremly shocked and dissapointed to hear that there is no timeframe or benchmark in place for the roll out of Live features to other regions, or are other regions simply not important enough?

And dont put the blame on ratings boards, all of the programs listed on the top tens above are already rated for commercial release in most countries. And even for those that aren't, this should not stop the release of those that are.

And dont blame licensing fees either. Isn't that why we pay both a subscription for XBox Live and also pay in MS points, just as we do every time we walk into a video store? And if these fees arent for the licensing, what are they for? Certainly not dedicated servers.

Thanks for sharing, and when we will be getting the video market place in the Netherlands ????? It is almost 2 years ago that the EU will be getting the full Movies watch and view feature. I don't expect it will take almost 2 years to license a movie or TV show..

When are we going to be provided with an update as to when the Video Marketplace is going to be available to the rest of the Xbox Live COMMUNITY!!!!!!!!!!!! This community does exist outside the USA you know. Show the rest of the COMMUNITY the same level of support! This COMMUNITY has a good memory and might not be so supportive in the future!
