Live worked fine for me yesterday, no problems, no connection errors, nothing. But today I can't play anymore, huh? Same problem like 2 days ago --> can't play multiplayer-matches over XBL.

im so upset i got Chronicles of Riddick at gamestop the other day and now i cant play it because its not Backwards Compatible thats so wrong when the h e l l.... is it going to be Backward Compatible they have other cheap games and they dont even have Riddick WoW.im so unhappy about this Major :(

Mine seems to be working now w00t! I checked it last night at 10pm and I was able to sign in the dashboard and play online with no problems. Everyone send your info to Major. I don't know if sending my info in to him had anything to do with it but after I sent him my info my Live was working after a few hours. Thanks Major.

In stunning news, xbox live is still down from it's earlier maintenance! Yet Major Nelson, the public face of live has nothing to say on his popular online blog. Whatup Maj? It would certainly decrease the vitriol if you would at least keep the community in the loop on what the status is - a little transparency goes a long way.

Dont bother ringing them up guys, no help at all, was cocky to me on phone, i asked when it would be up and he said he doesnt no i said why is it happining he says listen the tech guys are fixing it.. its now been 3 and a half days ffs!.. get it sorted ;/ .. all my guys r playing and theres me sitting there doing f all

Well major nelson, i'm experiencing some problems either, i can play games, but never seem to save experience points or whatsoever...

So, Major, how is twittering like fiddling? (Think Roman). So how about an update on when we can expect Live to work again? My favorite part of the support site is where it first says "Up and Running" and has a list of everything that's not working, which is pretty much everything.

I am also experiencing lots of issues. Cannot play ANY Live game, although I can access Marketplace through a game, I cannot access ANYTHING from live through the Dashboard. IT's bad enough that I haven't been able to play ANY games since Christmas, but I could at least update and get add-ons. Now I have NOTHING from live. I am frustrated with this. Not angry, just frustrated.

I dont know if this was posted yet but the techs, to me to restart my modem and plug directly into that. wouldn't you know it, it worked. The only problems I have had since was when live when down for everyone a couple times last night. The update must have done something to the routers/settings. Try using only a modem it worked for me, and hopefully it will for you as well.
