Thanks Activision! This will probably be the first and last GH3 track pack I buy, unless more Muse is on the way or you adopt per song purchasing like Rock Band

Not to be a downer, but are we ever going to see any track packs that live up to the title of LEGENDS OF ROCK? Since the game's release, there has not been a single dlc song pack with any bands that are even close to be considered legends. So, is the entire reason this version of the game was called legends of rock because Slash appeared in it? The track listing that shipped with the game at least contained quite a few bands that fall under that category, but since then, its been nothing short of 'ok'.

I'm a die hard rock fan and have been a GH fan since the first one on PS2 so I know they can get classic, legendary bands to contribute.

How about some more Metallica, Pantera, Iron maiden, Megadeth, Boston, The Who, Zeppelin, zztop, hendrix, ozzy, etc.. You know, bands that made an impact on the industry. Not just more of the bands that follow everyone else's example.

I love the game, but if I'm going to spend money on track packs, i'd rather get to play songs that I grew up listening to, songs that bring back memories, songs that really rock and are not just the same thing over and over again.

Bought. And as a previous poster said good except for the repetitive Exo-politics. As for Double Helix, I'll admit that Muse could be misconstrued as an "emo" band, however I think you'll find on closer listening they are what you might call a modern rock band. Given they are liked by a lot of people over the age of 18, most "emo's" having outgrown their teenage angst by 16/17, I think regardless of their possible "emo" status they obviously appeal to a much wider audience as well.

Well, it would appear as though Double Helix doesn't need crappy music to rot their brain. There is nothing left to rot!

Hell, your definition of emo could be applied to just about every musician, save for perhaps Devo and some form of slow paced robot music.

they need to lower the price for songs because Rock Band songs are cheaper and you can play each of them on 4 different instruments...so if you buy GH3 songs you're really getting ripped off...

Ugh, why are they still asking 500 points for these things, and why aren't they offering the songs individually as well?

I probably still wouldn't buy any of them; it's just amazing to watch Activision still be so audacious in their pricing, all things considered.
