FWIW, I could afford spending 239€ for the game, and I'm quite interested in getting it, so I suppose I'm the "target group" for this game.

But I'm NOT buying it, because this price is not only a ripoff, it's an INSULT. What are these guys thinking? That Europeans are rich and dumb? Well, guess again!

I think whoever fixes those prices not only needs to drop them to 149€ for the FULL kit INCLUDING the game, but also APOLOGIZE to the European Xbox 360 owners for this insulting offer. Trying to cash in at the highest price point is one thing, but when you're insulting your potential customers, you've obviously made a mistake...

Saints of Los Angeles isn't available in all of Europe (Ireland, specifically), will it be released later? I bought all the songs over the last two days but this one is missing.

No, what the person meant was this, 3 countries is not europe the same as 3 states are not the USA. Nobody was actually comparing anything. Because America is so damn big it would be like saying, this games being released in America and then it being released in 3 states only, hardly the USA is it? He used America because thats where the game came out first and its an easy comparison. I still don't know how Mexico is part of North America when strictly speaking its in the middle.

I say this game can stay on the shelves, its over priced for some plastic instruments, is only enjoyable in a group and the guitar work is meant to be a piece of cake to play in comparison to GH. Its the biggest shaft of a game i've seen.

I'll be importing the disc from the uk rather than waiting for it to be released here, shipping for the drums would be too much, so i'll wait with those until i see if i can find a good price in sweden/ see how much the GH4 drums cost.

On topic, I know I'll end up with Rock Band at some time, but it's going to take a price drop or a loterry win to speed up the time window.

No those get complained at much more, that we already lose hope on them. So trust me they are a lot more hated and complained at then Microsoft. You could say Japan hates America but it seems like they hate Europe a lot more.

Besides this is a xbox community not a Sony or Nintendo community, so why complain at it here.

Will all these overpriced intruments be compatible with the next version of the Xbox (due 2010)?

Also when is Microsoft going to officially announce it's wii sports clone? (as opposed to kind of denying it).

and also its rip off of Sony's home idea?

You can buy the instruments and the game off play.com for €196, still too much though, I think €170 is a fair price.

Total: 108€

Rock Band EU (Game) -> 70€

Rock Band EU (Hardware Bundle) -> 169€

Total: 239€

Difference: 131€

That's a rip-off and those guys saying the Europeans "whine" again... Feel free to send me and the others the Difference of 131€ and I will gladly buy the EU-Version.

I am getting this.

I just bought over 30 songs ready for Friday. Spending around 5000 points.

Majors list is incomplete though. ALL the songs from the US are now up. I know, I checked each one as I had a specific list of songs I wanted to get first.
