Aside from the pricing complaints which I agree with (500 is too much).

£4.75 in the UK

$2.50 in the USA

£1 =$1.9 in the real world, in MS world £1 = 45 cent.

The songs are fantastic, great hard patterns and the tracks have been remastered by Motorhead and sound better than the original recordings.

After getting Rock Band here in the UK I can safely say I won't be wasting money on these packs anymore. Rock band packs are cheaper and offer more than double the playability. Plus, Rock Band just feels like a more mature package altogether than Guitar Hero. Let's hope GH learn from their mistakes for the upcoming World Tour game.

It was listed on threespeech as free, and has since changed, a comment from the mods has been posted apologising for the incorrect information. Anyway, its now a purchase :)

For the record this pack is NOT free on PSN It costs £3.99, however there is a god of war song that is free. Maybe if people decided to look at what the description says, these mistakes would not be made?

Sony have amended their webby and apologised, this is NOT free for PS3 users. Means its back on my Xbox shopping list :)

Yeh, I won't be buying this either because of the price, the GH DLC price is a rip off on the 360 and this pack is apparently free on PSN? Guess the licensing BS won't wash this time.

I was initially grateful for this DLC but after reading that its free on the PSN I definitely wont buy it :(

I wonder why its free on the other platform and costs on my platform of choice. How can Microsoft expect to compete in a few years once the PSN catches up technically if this type of scenario is able to happens :(

@QualityJeverage. Yeah GH is more rewarding than Rock Band. I find the guitar too easy in RB and the whole "solo sections" are just sloppy because going to those lower fret buttons doesn't work like it should. I always mess up and fail a song try to get aligned with those smaller buttons. I also half expected these songs to be the Disturbed one's but they're not :-( still no decent GH DLC yet.

"Ace of Spades" is found on the first Guitar Hero (for the PlayStation 2). When Guitar Hero II was re-released on the Xbox 360, they added "Ace of Spades" as downloadable content. It is highly unlikely that you will find a song that was on a previous Guitar Hero release on any of the newer Guitar Hero games.

The only exception to this are the song packs released for Guitar Hero II. If you download any of those song packs, then you must play them on Guitar Hero II. Guitar Hero II song packs won't work on Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock or vise-versa.

To put it simply: You NEED to get Guitar Hero II and download Guitar Hero Track Pack 1 (which includes "Bark at the Moon", "Hey You", and "Ace of Spades").

It's not just the note window that bothers me about Rock Band. Rock Band feels really unpolished to me, and the HoPos can be hard to see on an SDTV.

The note window was much smaller in Guitar Hero II, but I still found it much more satisfying to play than Rock band.
