As far as I remember my first video game was Terrahawks on a "Philips CSV7000" (in the US known as "Magnavox Odyssey 2"). Some years later I loved RPG's on the Super Nintendo. Today I play mainly Ego-Shooters and Action Games. The flicker photos are outstanding - that's a geek home theater man!

I started out on Mario, Tetris, & Duckhunt on the NES and can kinda see a connection with Tetris & duckhunt and Halo 3 & Forge.. Maybe? My favorite type of games are shoot'em up games, except for GTA. I don't like to play as the "bad guy". I think E's theory works for the majority of people.

Well I wasn't even thinking about getting the deadliest catch, never saw the show. But after the interview and hearing what an *** Cig is I bought Season 1 and reserved the game.

The Sierra interviews are pretty lame, they need to let you talk to the developers, not the producers. The producers just push the game in marketing terms and generally are not interesting.

Very good show Major, keep up the good work.

My first game was Pong and my first gaming console was the Atari 2600 with Combat. I basically play everything under the sun now minus the sport sims. I just refuse to pay 60.00 every year for a roster update and a few changes.

Why can you only have up 6 items in the download queue?

Also it'd be nice to be able to order the download queue by file size. It's quite annoying to have queued up several large demos and then go to download gamer pics and have to keep moving them to the top of the queue so I can free up another download spot as quickly as possible. Of course having an unlimited download queue or allowing 20+ items would make this unnecessary.

I started gaming on Pong, and of course DK, Defenders, Asteroids, Gorf, Tron, at the same time playing D&D styled games on my Apple IIe. Head times indeed. And running Zork off of the PDP1170 in my college computer lab. I'm good at RPG's, and FPS's, but I'll play anything.

Ok, you gave a lot of free advertising to Astro - but gave no love to the Triton AX360's which deliver a true 5.1 experience with 8 speakers in the headphones, they also use a 2.5 jack to plug into the controller - I've been using mine for a little under a year and they are spectacular.

Deadliest Catch, the video game? I'm having a hard time imaging this one.. But then again I have not played any of the other "wildlife" simulation games... But the idea just makes me laugh... Especially when I try to imagine those captains "collaborating" on this game... And then all the couch potatoes (no disrespect intended) at home tossing the hook and emptying the pots... In the cozy warmth of the family den... Hope there's a demo as I am curious...

Oh almost forgot, mine was Sonic the Hedgehog on the Genesis, E's theory doesn't work for me since I'm good at almost all games, except for sports games.

Sig making fun of Major gave me a good laugh, nice to see Major had a good sense of humor though!

All this talk of Deadliest Catch on the podcast as made me pick up the show!
