Anon 43 - Let's see, I paid $399 (Pro) + $199 (wireless) + $49.99 (Xbox Live) + Check my Played Games - ALL PURCHASED not rented or a GameFly wanna be (sorry, had to say that for the sake of it). I'm just relating DRM to BC. This is not a blog (wait - being a web designer and looking at the coding - oh my, IT IS A BLOG) and I'm not trying to be negative, basically "Fix it or Nix it". The fix is coming, great, thanks. I'm NOT whining, just pointing out - it hindered me really bad, but yet I'm still here.

Anon 43, unplug your network cable, put in an Xbox Original Game CD and play it. THEN come back and tell me if you played the game or not. IE BC/DRM, two different things, but same boat - You WON'T play. Bottom line. Also, um what this post is REALLY about....

My copy of Xbox Original: Guilty Gear X2 #Reload works EXCELLENT!! The story mode is AWESOME - spoken in Japanese with English Subtitles! I got a chance to play online too. It was a bit nitpicky - our styles of fighting, but still cool! Load Time was/is very tolerable and the graphics are BEAUTIFUL!!! I have not did a sound test or compared it to any other versions, but I'd say this is a GREAT buy! IF I had to complain, there is only one thing - having an online competition on a Monthly Basis. Think of 'filling the pond with XXX amount of fish so that ANY BODY catches one'. Meaning, you'll always have someone to match up with at some point. And a small note, the scoreboard is littered mainly with JPN (Japanese) players. (Timezone sync - ahoy!)

And last Anon43, just like a radio talking about PS3 is the best system for your money and you do not want to hear it, just change the channel. Oh wait, this is the internet. Let me turn the clock back, remember those things made of dead trees? If my memory does not fail me, they are called newspapers. They are still around today. Their basic operation : 1. Go to sections you want (to) read and read. 2. Skip less important information (IE my banter). 3. Worst of all, the UK BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY LIST states Guilty Gear x2#Reload as fully functional on a UK xbox! Making me look like an idiot when I got excited that there had been an update <_<

All I know is that my Xbox game best work on my Xbox360. I do not mean to get worked up, but

1. I've gone without internet connection - which in turn restores my PAID Arcade Live games to Trial Editions. Ruined Christmas 2007 - I almost cried along with my Street Fighter Nephew-in-law because Street Fighter Anniversary needed the BC update.

2. I bought Chess Master - BEFORE the Xbox Live Arcade version came out (the Spyglass version truly P!55ed me off so bad when I'd be losing I'd stick around and lose. Then on three ocassions on 25+ minutes of play I'd be winning and my opponents would drop out. These were random opponents, so besides leave bad feedback, what else could I do? The Chess Master CD was not BC and so I gave it to a friend who had an Xbox. $18 down the drain.

3. I wanted to play offline, just because I wanted to (so people would stop inviting me to games for a minute so I can play single player). Well, my Xbox Live games, Street Fighter II HyperFighting, Puzzle Fighter II Remix, Poker Smash, etc, ALL the games I wanted to play were reduced to trials. Tech support was really no help in this one particular area.

Thank God this is not an everyday event. I LOVE Xbox360 and Xbox Live, but when it down, man it is like a thorn in one's side.

I do not mind no more Backwards Compatibility, but at least let us know. But I will state this, in regards to my downloading frenzies....

I will not purchase an Xbox Original (at this moment) as that is hard drive space I am not giving up. I can't lend it to my friend who lives down the road or my cousin (whom I just bought an Xbox360 for) who lives 2 hours away (I bought the Xbox360 to actually save gas on our playing of video games - 200 Miles round trip - Yeh, that's how much we love Street Fighter and video games in general).

This subject is becoming long-winded - DRM is like the WORST thing ever to me. They need to make something else that is more user friendly - not everyone pirates, but everyone like to share - hearsay, information or even a free use of whatever it is. "Hey, want to borrow my copy of Bad Dudes on NES?" (I just handed you the cartridge.

Flashdrives are like 8GB+ these days - PreFormat them, encode them with a special encryption, allow games to pull the rights straight from the system - online or offline - or even activate it online and if on a unknown or Newly Purchased Console (or New Hard Drive) a ONE-TIME only security screen pops up for us to log in. This would be awesome to go to a friend's place (or my place of work on GameDay) and play MY COLLECTION of Xbox360 downloaded games. I would not have to worry about my games if someone walked off with my flashdrive. Sell these to use so that we can get on with our merry-gaming lives.

1200 MS Points, are you crazy!? And the hard drive space too? I IMMEDIATELY searched www.ebgames.com, found out that my local EBGames had ONE copy, bought it, done! Now I just need to see if it works today when I get home (Return date of Xbox360 from Red Rings as of June 6) is today. I'm not a real fan of this game, more of Street Fighter II, but this game is worth playing on the off days or with someone who is not a fighting game fan.

I'm also buying Wolf of the Battlefield™: Commando 3 as it will have access to Super Street Fighter® II Turbo HD Remix Beta test beginning June 25!!!! Street Fighter fans, rejoice, download, play, report bugs!!!

Oh, look me up and email me if you want to battle in Guilty Gear X2 #Reload (I also have Lost Planet Colonies - but the guys I run with usually only play Ranked, but easily found in search if you look up the correct settings).

well i used to be a 360 fanboy but after playing mgs4 i think its time to turn to the dark side. I sick off us europeans getting screwed over content like this specially when europe is the biggest consumer base in the game industry, Like the thousands before me mgs2 and rallisport 2 thats all i would like to see put on xbox originals or made BC and work on PAL consoles, and would somebody sort out XBLA the games lately have been crap.

Well, its one of the best fighting games ever, but if you own a PS2 you're better off getting GGX2 Accent Core, which is a further balancing of the game mechanics and it contains A.B.A. from GG Isuka.

Anon 23. You are dead wrong. Never has microsoft stated that there won't be another BC update. They have hinted at such but have never said there will not be another one. The BC page on xbox.com states that they are still working on the project. I suspect that is why I and others are still asking for more updates. As Bfbeast666 said, get your facts straight before you type.

At microsoft: I would hope that if you have scrapped BC, you will eventually let us, the consumer, know. It seems that would be the least you could do...
