these nerd wars are hilarious. Looks guys, I go through over a tank of gas a week. Which a tank itself is 55 dollars!! xbox live for the whole year doesn't even cost that much, and guess WHAT? The price NEVER goes up? It would be one thing if they got us all hooked on xbl and then drove the price up, but the fact remains, it never will (hopefully). Also before xbox live and the 360, demo's were not looked at as a marketing tool. Now most games, especially ones that could use word of mouth like: dead rising, bioshock, skate, fight night, and bourne conspiracy all come out with demos before they are even released to stores for free. And the simple fact is Microsoft NEVER asks you to pay for them. You make that choice by joining gold. You can still get the demo's you just have to wait a little longer. There is absolutely NOTHING skewed or messed up about that. I respect the fact that Microsoft has spent the time to construct a well oiled machine, while PS just sits in the dust. You people need to realize the only way we ever used to get demos before was through pre-order, 10 dollars magazines, free demo's are a godsend, and one of the greatest features to be flushed out since xbl and 360's inception.

I'm against demo's being available to Gold Members first as demo's are supposed to be used to sell copies of games, not bait people into upgrading their account. However the point that MS shouldn't charge for live is hardly valid. Yeah Sony is free but you get what you pay for. I have no problem paying for MS as its pretty reliable. If you break down the cost of live over a year it's only four dollars and change a month or 14 cents a day.

As far as my math, it's roughly 4 bucks a month like I said. Also, I'm not the one crying on an internet message board about having to wait for something. Like I said, if you weren't such a cheap-ass, you wouldn't have to wait. As far as being an adult, and knowing what is important in life, I don't have that problem. I can afford to play. You on the other hand, that's a different story. "OH DEAR WHAT WILL I EVER DO? I CAN'T HAVE LIVE AND BUY GAS TOO". Like I stated earlier, you probably couldn't afford to own the console to begin with. As far as your little "I fight for the things we deserve". No one cares just as no one asked you too. Plain and simple, you lose again. As said earlier, at least I'm mature enough to not post anonymously on here. What's the matter, you afraid someone will really find out you live in your grandmas basement? I thought so. Another internet "tough guy" is all you try to be. Too bad you fail miserably and just keep embarrassing yourself over and over. I'm done arguing with a 12 yr old on the internet, I got better things to do.

Well, it was a good demo... the difficulty is set to varsity, making it way to easy, therefore I couldn't get a great grasp on the gameplay. However, the blocking animation is great, it is much easier to see you holes while running and also better while passing.

The character speed does seem a bit slow, however, the animations have really been improved.

Overall, this is buy for me every year and this year will be no different.

Word on the street says that anonymous posters who like to name call are just bitter because they are too cheap to pay for live. You complain live costs too much and equals the same as 2 gallons of gas, so you are forced to choose. Sounds to me maybe you couldn't afford to own the console to begin with. Anyways, EA did ruin the football franchises a bit after exclusivity, I mean, they just put in online leagues this year even though 2k5 had it 4 years ago?!? But last year's Madden was actually really good, and I expect this year to be even better. HOWEVER, I expect them to tail off next year. They did that last gen too, the one with Marshall Faulk on the cover (03' or 04') was awesome, but after that, they hardly changed it. AND THEN Madden on the 360 has just been a joke until this past year. So I expect MAYBE one more good Madden.

I'm silver and off to download...on my PS3 of course.

I've yet to hear what good taking away getting demos when they're released from silver has done? It's just made me get the demos and games on PS3 instead or rent the game instead of buy it and I don't see how that does MS any good. Unwanted customers I guess? I suppose less play time helps it not break for a 5th time but other than that I don't know.
