I just got UT 3 and so far its great. Exactly what I was going for: old school twitch shooter...haven't tried the vehicles yet though. The campaign story is as the reviews say: the most ridiculous thing ever written. I've found that there are a lot fewer people playing online than I would have expected based off of one night of playing (found deathmatch games fine, but could not find team deathmatch games). Also, I did see some lag on a few of the games (I've heard that lag is a crapshoot right now).

UT3 will make the ottom half of the top 10. It might climb a little over time, not far though. BF:BC will not make top 3 or 4 because all those people playing the demo will not buy the full version, most who are going to buy it have already done so.

Also, Unreal Tournament 3 is a very fantastic game.. I hope to see it on the next Top Ten list..

The Arcade list is all about PURCHASES not Live activity (I've confirmed this with MN). See the note at the very end of Major's post... "in the case of Arcade, full versions purchased that week." So more people bought UNO this week than Happy Tree Friends.

The above arcade list is based on full versions purchased That means number of games bought that week, it's a sales chart, NOT an activity chart like the Retail 360 List. You people get dumber day by day.

OK then I was confused. I thought that the Arcade list was counting purchased, not playing purchased version...So if this is correct then, my bad.

I wonder if Unreal Tournament 3 would even make the xbox live activity top 10 list. Its a pretty stand out game interms of graphics and 'twitch'gameplay. Everyone doesn't feel this way about it however, and that's understandable. What do you guys think, can it take out any of th top 10 games listed?

gears of war 2 is gonna control that number 1 spot once it comes out idk if any other game will have a chance at #1 until then fable 2 is possible but idk

What that line says is that the Top Arcade Titles list counts the unique users playing the full purchased games. They're not counting people trying out demos. So the list isn't what people are buying that week but what they're playing. Doubt many people are buying UNO these days, but the people who bought it a long time ago (or got it with their system) are still playing it.

The reason Halo 3 always has more players but is always 2nd on the list is that the in game count in Halo 3 includes guests, where as the Majors numbers count gamertags.

More people play Halo 3 every day thanks to split screen, but more xboxes are tuned to CoD4.
