G4's live press conference airings are being sponsored by GameStop this year, so with those fat pockets sponsoring them, I'm sure they've learned from their HORRIBLE mistakes from last year and will indeed air the press conferences live AND commercial-free. I took Monday and Tuesday off work just to see them live on G4, so I can't wait!!!

Commerical-free? Yeah right -- they said that last year and look what happened.. Either way, I will bet $100 on G4TV screwing up ONE of the press conferences or cuts to commerical during a highly anticipated commerical. Let it be the PS3 one. anger the sony fanboys this year!

Well, i'm gonna be sitting on my couch watching G4 for E3. I hope to go next year, but I highly doubt it. Can't wait for news on Guitar Hero/Rock Band, Call of Duty, James Bond, Gears of War 2, and hopefully Assassins Creed 2. Sorry to all that don't have G4. G4 is bringing in big customers since last year, and I believe them if they say they don't have commericals. I think I'll be watching the show with my friends and family, Instead of talking about it on the internet. BTW does anyone have trixie360's email? I want to nominate a friend for the gamerspotlight.

While watching the press conference streaming live from the dashboard sounds like a great idea, I don't think there's any way the XBL servers could handle all that traffic of millions of people streaming the same thing at once, esp. after the whole 2007 holiday fiasco!

Yea, I am excited for E3 on G4 this year, but I have some doubts though. Especially after what happened last year during MS's conference. Commercial breaks during Bioshock, Mass Effect, and Halo 3 (and others) was a total disater. (Sessler is the freakin man for TRYING to stop the commercial break during Halo 3's trailer, even though he didn't win.) My problem is, I have to be at work when MS's conference starts and I wont be home till it's well over with. I cant watch it at work (even though we have computers) because the broadband connection to stream is a sorry disgrace to deal with here. Luckily I've worked it out with me parents so that they will recording everything on G4 on day 1 of E308 (including MS's conference) so when I get home later that night, I'll stay up all night and watch it to my enjoyment....just praying that there will be no commercial breaks during Rock Band 2 and such. Kudos for the idea of streaming on dashboard. i agree, it will definitely work out better for alot of us (if i'm not at work that is :P)

STREAM FROM DASHBOARD

Why the heck hasn't anybody mentioned this before? It's such an obvious, much-needed feature!

Really Microsoft! What are you thinking? You now have the ability to stream, do it with the press conference. What better way to (A) get people to all sign on to Live (have fun with that e) and (B) get current XBOX360 owners into the mix by offering them an easier, better (?) way to watch the conference. It's your conference. Take full ownership and don't give G4 the chance to mess it up. At least do this for us next year Microsoft!

After last years horrible coverage, I doubt I will give G4 any more ratings. It really ruined the experience for me.

Even if they don't break for commercials; who's to say they won't bust in and make their own comments and have interviews or advertisements? There's a very slim chance I will turn it on to check it out to see if it is better, but you can guarantee that I will be watching it from another source at the same time to guarantee that I don't miss anything.

I don't know if you can watch live on Gamespot, last year you had to be a paying member to get the live feeds, otherwise you had to wait until after the press conferences were over to watch.

Darn. If the focus for E3 this year will be G4 and Inside Xbox, then does that mean that the promo for E3 Bringing It Home via Xbox Live Marketplace downloads is false? I like downloading E3 content in HD. :-(

Hey Major, just thought I'd let you know that the RSS feed still doesn't have the file for the last show you did. It keeps trying to download it in Juice and failing, and I end up with a bunch of failed downloads in my queue because of it. :P
