I heard people mentioning Duke Nukem, that would rock if that were released. But searching a few titles on Xbox.com shows that Castle Crashers and Braid are both listed and have full page descriptions, that usually is a precursor to a release. But... could be anything.

Feels more and more to me, that part of Microsoft's "certification" process is simply about holding back good software so that people will be tricked into buying more shovel-ware.

There are a LOT of great simple graphics and simple sound (if any) in games out there that could easily be put designed via XNA. Crosswords on here (XBLA) sounds like a good idea, but will crossword lovers even notice it?

Where IS Jazz Jack Rabbit? I'd love to get my hands on a full version for the console.

MS could have gone one of two ways here with this (and many other XBLA titles). Either way was a gamble.

What they decided to do is sell this subpar game, (which they must have known wouldn't be the most popular game on XBLA)for 800 points, going for the big instant yields off of the three people who would buy it, that is! Of course they risk not selling as many, plus the added factor of upsetting the random observant customer, as well as alienating potential buyers who refuse to pay or even can't afford the price.

What they should have done was sell it for 200 points. Reception from the populace would have been much higher, and they would have sold much much more. Even if the end financial yields of both options turned out to be equal, they would still have had major gains in customer appreciation as opposed to having just the opposite! That alone should have been well worth it...

Konami is the one that greelit the project, paid for it, and published it. Not MS. MS didn't set the price, they did.

As for Microsoft - Don't you think that MS is intentionally putting this turd out due to E3 week. The Too Human demo, as well as all kinds of other E3 goodies will be available.

Oh, and whomever keeps complaining about whats been on XBLA this year: STFU. After N+, we've got Commando 3, Ikaruga, Soul Calibur, and other good games. It's not all casual. Yes, we've seen too many match-3 puzzlers, but we've got some good games too.

re: Next week on Arcade: Coffeetime Crosswords

Keep digging a hole with that shovelware, guys.

Thanks for the info, Major Nelson! Been actually waiting to play this sort of game, especially since I fell in love with NY Crossword puzzle game for the DS. And for all the haters, who cares if you can get them cheaper on paper or the internet? Are they in HD, and do they have achievements, hmmm? Didn't think so, so shut your traps and be patient until your precious games come out. The world doesn't revolve around you babies. Besides, Microsoft has to cater to the casual crowd as well ;)

. . . . . Not at these prices though. Everything's going up so they think these should also. No, these are digital distribution and the rising gas costs aren't making the games more expensive!!!!!! The reason groceries and everything are rising is that the trucks and things bringing them are costing more to operate. This gaming market is one of the few unaffected so act like it. Even at 400 this game wouldn't sell squat. . . . . Come on. Anon 46 ARE U GUYS JKING? THIS IS THE BEST ARCADE EVER!

Anon 31 and Anon 46, out of over 100 friends (on and off my Xbox Live Friends list and Messenger Live List, I had ONE, ONE friend who purchased Word Puzzle, which in my book is a cool, casual relaxing fun game, for a few minutes. I asked my other casual gamer friends why they didn't buy it "It was just not for me". Same goes for Wits and Wagers.

Now Anon 31 and Anon 46, can you guys check that game out (Wordl Puzzle, purchase it) and be two more people to play against me in that game? I'd play more often if there WERE people playing it, EVEN from other countries! But no one is ever there! Kudos Anon 43, Hello! Digital Download = No shipping. But remember, Microsoft runs reports and stuff, so they should know their business. Yeh, I know it does not look like it, but I'm showing my vote by NOT downloading the demo as I played The New York Time CROSSWORDS by Majesco Entertainment on my DS and um, I was not pleased.

I'm a casual crossword puzzle challenger and crosswords are just for the brain tease. Well, I played it at work via co-op and my co-worker and I were just plopping in letters that did not fit so for a Clue: To Make a Point, I think it was 2 sideways six letters, I guessed POINTED, then I thought SHARPENED, but that was too many letters, then I just used HELP and this is what came out on screen SHRPEN (AFTER 7 minutes on that ONE WORD!). I looked the word up SHRPEN on my dictionary on my phone, no such word. Then told and displayed my screen to my co-worker. He and I both at the same time said "I guess its supposed to be SHARPEN. I then reply "Game's Over, because I hate plain math games, with no algebra or geometry, but yet 2+2=5." Math Play by NATSUME INC is a fun way to play UNO with up to four other people and ONE cartridge!

I guess to those who really want to be heard, download the demo, do not play it and delete it or do not download it at all. Even if this game was free, would you even play it? Okay, okay, yeh, for the Gamer Points. I thought for SURE Buku Sudoku Xbox LIVE was going to be a No.1 Hit, though I do not care for the paper version, I know 3 people who like it and do it in private.

I heard Duke Nukem 3D with Multiplayer DeathMatch is coming, AWESOME! Now only if they could get Boom Boom Rocket Multiplayer on Xbox Live, that would TOTALLY Awesome.
