If it was $5 I'd pick it up in a heartbeat, but $10 games need to go a bit further nowadays and not just 2d sprites dancing around. You compare this with Bionic Commando coming up at that price point and it's hard to justify the $10.

re: Arcade: Go! Speaking of that, the Breakout game on Live Arcade for the original Xbox was rather fun and should be brought to the 360.

re: Arcade: Go! First I'm hitting buttons and then I'm doing a puzzle game and then back to the button matching.. it's like the game is trying to distract me from how much it sucks.

The combination of puzzle and beat stands out as a great idea. I dig the characters, thought not really "street", very appealing for pretty much anyone, I think.

Good buy

re: Arcade: Go! Go! Go! Break Steady, it i a little better than what I expected. I will say ti is different, but reminds me of the cheer-leading game in Thrillville: Off the Rails. I enjoyed it just as much, but liked the humorous animations of the cheer-leaders. Go! Go! Break Steady would have been an instant buy, but I'm going to wait for my friends on this one. The demo is cool, the price point kinda stopped me from rushing off to EBGames to get a points card.

Anon 3 you are right, it does take a bit to get used to it, as if you hit the correct button before it is dead center you get AXED. The music is nice, I love it. Actually I just played each song in its entirety while I worked. IF I could find a steady partner on the weekends, I'd buy it.....

This could be my 'Boom Boom Rocket stand-in' for online play until the release an official one.

It is a bit tricky to get the hang of it in the beginning but the game definitely builds on you the more you play. All in all it is a fun game that is different. Definitely worth it especially over remakes.

re: Arcade: Go!
