the demo is awesome. i see some people saying its just the test. u can also do a "madden moment" with the giants over the pats. thats it tho. i wudve liked 2 play a game but i still think its awesome

Madden demo sucks 1.30 min of game play ncaa football demo is better at lest you can get a feel for the game

The only reason APF 2k8 was garbage because they had few thing to do.. I hope There will be an ESPN 2K10

I won't download this because I have the 20GB HD and I don't want the rest of my space being raped by an EA game demo. I'll buy the full game, though.

1GB for some training camp minigames and 1:30 of gameplay? Boourns.

Oh, and BS Dr Long Jon... Visual Concepts had their chance at improving 2k5 and All-Pro was GARBAGE. Madden 08 wasn't bad at all.

There are at least two teams in Newport. No idea how rural you are and whether it is easier to get there or one of the teams in England.

Personally I've always loved US Football since I started watching back in the 80s. Can't wait for the season to start again and I have my tickets for Wembley! Just hope that we don't get such bad rain this year - it was a great atmosphere but a terrible game because the pitch and ball were too slippery. Pitting the future superbowl champs against the Dolphins also didn't make for a very competative matchup!

Looking forward to picking up the game, but I tend to agree that this demo was rather limited - no chance to play on defence and forced really to rely on the passing game to beat the task.

Looks pretty good though.

Anyone who does not like "american" football or Madden is just ignorant about the game. It is complicated but the most stratgic and fun game/sport.

I haven't purchased...but one game (Battlefield: Bad Company), from EA since EA bought up the NFL licenses - and eliminated their competition. Once this "agreement" expires, and they actually have to compete again, then I'll consider them.

ESPN 2K5 would have pushed Madden to be a FAR better product than it is now, and it's us gamers that it hurt...hence - no $$ from me.

I thought the demo was ok for the small amount of time you get to play. I got CRUSHED more then a few times trying to go across the middle. The hitting this year is pretty great and looks to be very spontaneous. Hopefully they will alter the way the camera moves with the ball, or hopefully that's something we the user can change, because I didn't like how they set it up this year. Other then that this is sure to be a game ill wait three months on. Madden's will always be half off by Christmas

All that I found in the Demo was the IQ test and 1 game.....1 game.. Pats vs giants and all you had to do was get a TD.. Game over

American Football has a huge following in Europe, not everyone says they don't understand it (and I don't know why, it is so easy). I'm English and I love it. This will be my 3rd season watching the NFL, in fact, the reason I got into it was because I randomly downloaded the Madden 06 demo lol. I went to the NFL London game last year, and already have my tickets for the next one in October, I can't wait!

The graphics are pretty sweet this year. Almost too good, they are a bit distracting.
