I don't own the game but after playing through the demo I am going to at least rent it for sure, if I don't buy it. It has got a lot of interesting elements and ideas that deserve to be praised. Seems like it was released unpolished, a little rushed by the publisher perhaps. I'd much rather buy THIS game to support the developers so they can make a polished with fleshed out ideas than some other games that barely think outside the box.

It hurts because it has such a good concept, and interesting ideas, but it was executed so very poorly.

No problems downloading the demo. Nice graphics, gameplay was kinda cheesy.

Oh no i actually like this game i dunno whats wrong with me. Then again not many survival horror games on the 360.

The demo is crap. Instead of AitD for X360 I will buy Siren for PS3 for my survival horror fix. Ehmmm, I have to buy PS3 first...:-(

WOW, I turned it off after playing it for 2 minutes...The graphics are good, but the gameplay was very unenjoyable. Everything felt too stiff and the cameras sucked.

I had high hopes for this game. But as soon as I watched the first trailer, I knew it would have nothing at all to do with Alone in the Dark. Big surprise upon playing the demo - It didn't. They should've just remade the first damn game. Instead of raping the franchise, Uwe Boll style.

Well, I was super pumped for this game and it sounds like it's not worth the disc it's printed on. I'll check out the demo but I've since removed this game from my Amazon wish list. Dang.... I guess I'll have to wait for RE5 and Alan Wake to be psychologically thrilled.

Major what was Microsoft test/Licensing team thinking to gif the game an Ok to go on the Xbox 360?

Daing the payability is like a piece of dog BLEEP that drips right in your ear! I mean come on Alone in the Dark? Yupa if you play this game your really Alone as in the Only one playing it,...........

the main point is just because it is so crappy I would just like to play it and get a 1000 for it and then make an AVGN like game review about it.

Please Major can you please make sure we the players will not get tortured like this any more....

I blindly bought this game first day, and took it back the next afternoon... this game is just absolute bollocks, its like an extremely pathetic episode of MacGyver where theres monsters that aren't scary, instead, make you laugh. Every situation I got into was ammusing, but not in a fun game sense, but more of a hahahah holy hell this is bad, just think, a developer out there actually thinks this is good.

Don't waste your download on this, the games broken, it doesn't deliver on its big ideas and it just plain old annoying to play with.

A little late for a demo, don't you think? I believe all of the bad reviews for this game simply because there wasn't a demo for it. OXM gave it a pretty harsh review, and I trust them. I'll download the demo just to see if it's worth buying when it hits bargain bin status.
