after ive downloaded conquest not olny is it laggy...but all the colours of my hd while playing seems to go wrong then as i go back to dashboard seems to get worse...now everytime load game up it seems to get massive update then happens again with bad colours..ive put in fifa after bad company..

so turned off my 360 hopeing there a prob with live not my tv...

what going on???

Wow... So many douchbags on here moaning about "Bring back Battlefield: MC!!!"

Newsflash, BF:MC WAS SH*T! I got it thinking 'Finally, Battlefield 2 on the consoles!' only to find a broken game that was pandering to the masses. Terrible terrible game.

Bad Company however is much more like Battlefield 2 and 1942 before it, in essence - going back to the roots of the franchise. My guess is a lot of the moaning trolls on here bleeting about how much they want to go back to BF:MC have only ever played that version of Battlefield. Wise up guys, its pap.

That said, conquest is missing some vital parts to it to make it a great experience (transport choppers anyone?), so I will be sticking with the Gold rush mode.

Conquest mode should have been there from the beginning, it's not like they had to change a whole lot. I'm enjoying it, though I wish they would fix the bases and make them uncappable. Go back and look at BF2, you would have hour long games on there. Now you are fortunate to get 10+ minutes out of one. Still, it's a great game and Gold Rush is fantastic.

I agree with Zeebot. My Xbox was broken when Bad Company came out, so I had to purchase it for PS3. Mic issues(mics randomly go out) made the game very un-enjoyable for me. I like the fact conquest is free though, adds great replayability.

What's with all these Anon comments? Don't get me wrong I really loved Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, but I believe DICE have come up with a game equally as good, if not better. The best money I've spent on a game in ages, i've well got my money's worth even before the DLC. Now it's got conquest mode it's even better, but all I read on hear is the usual whingers moaning and groaning.

I thing the Major has to think about whether he is a salesman or a spokesman. Did a good job of admitting to the online problems but I don't think he will ever say anything negative about a game. Probably not his job. Loss of objectivity equals lack of credibility.

What exactly is the lifecycle of a video game? When I started playing football years ago I never dreamed I'd eventually be locked into one game AND have to buy a new version every year just to play online. After a game is sold, what is the motivation of EA/DICE/MS to maintain and support the game and it's servers? BF MC has cheats that include crashing entire games. Several people opened problems with MS and EA to stop it and got nowhere. So here are people trying to inform the game makers of problems that need fixing and they get nowhere. BF MC was a great game that lasted an unusually long couple of years only to be wiped off the mat by the idiots at DICE. And you wonder why there is an ESRB notice. The video gaming community has serious, continuing quality assurance problems. No game is affected more by network/server problems than Madden. Stop adding crap and gloss and FIX THE FUCKING PROBLEMS. Graphics aren't all about detail and processing power. They're about design. COD4 is a great game but it's gorgeous graphics wouldn't work on a BF scale. You can't admire the grass when ur doing 60 in a Hummer. I like what the guy said about EA rolled the DICE and came up craps. lol.

I have to agree with many of the comments that DICE really screwed up. MC was a great game. BC is pretty awful. What are they gonna do on the PC? Port the BC piece of crap?
