this is way better then 08 but they still need to improve it, the achievements for this game are almost the same as 08.

06 and 07 are and remain solid titles for Tiger Woods, b4 EA messed up the formula here..with Slice Woods 08

unlike MLB/NBA/NHL/NFL other than new players on the circuit , there arent any trades or free agent movement and such in Golf to warrant getting a new title of Tiger Woods each year! :)

After all the golf courses played on dont change or get any different, just the people on the course do !! Unless you are a stickler for that, then i dont see any need for any other versions for a $60 dollar pickup..

save your money for Gears 2 !!

I thought the game play on the PS3 was good. Then again my first TW was 06 on the 360 which ROCKED.. It is the only sports game I play.

To that end 08 on the 360 was really bad for me however on the PS3 it was a strong game (only played the demo, did not end up purchasing).

Here we are with 09. I played the demo last week on the PS3 and really liked it, I am wondering how it will be on the 360.

I will let you all know what I think (as if you care :) when I have played on my xbox).

On the PS3 however things I DID like was the practice area where it draws the GREEN, YELLOW, RED for your hits; club tuner. This lets you really focus on how your thumb moves and what the effect is.

The game play itself was solid. On the 07 version; 360, I could not get a good hit in to save my life. Something was just OFF.. Maybe it was me?? On the PS3 however the FEEL was like 06 on the XBox and I could hit the ball and play the game.

I quit buying this same garbage every year in 2006 and I am not going back. Typical of EA releasing a new title year after year never supporting the one before for any longer than a few months. $1.00 says the bulk of their team has moved onto TW 2010 leaving a mere skeleton crew to clean up the disaster we all expect at launch. BUGS BUGS BUGS it never ceases to amaze me.

How can both these demos come out at the same time on PS3, yet magically just like last year Microsoft holds back the 2k demo for "quality purposes". IT makes absolutely no sense, and is complete bull. I want that 2K demo out now, i'm a long time XBOX Live subscriber and its becoming increasingly clear to me that XBOX and Microsoft have something worked out with EA, espescially when the Tiger Woods demo is out on both systems at the same time, yet the NHL 2K9 demo is only available on PS3 on the same day.

And as i know this will largely go ignored or even deleted from this page within seconds because i've found something out, I guarantee you that we will not see the 2K9 demo on XBOX Live before EA's demo is out, or maybe the same day it comes out. There's absolutely no excuse for PS3 to have the Tiger Woods demo out the same day as XBOX live, and NHL 2K9 and 2K9's is not available on XBoX Live? Its complete crap.

all you guys that are dissing the demo are idiots. it is an amazing demo, and the game is gonna be fricken sweet, so shut ur mouths. and the EA video games are the best sports video games out there so shut up.

Hmm...I don't know if anyone else had this problem, but when I tried to play 3 holes, the audio completely disappeared on my demo. The Club Tuning mode worked fine, but the 3 holes dumped my audio.

Did this happen to anyone else?

06 You cant get 1000 Points

07 Has bugs and if your not carefull you have to play through again to get 1000

08 Is unstable

Man I hope this one is better then last year.... Tiger is getting worse then Madden as far as updates are concerned. 360 is in need of some new blood IMO, all EA all the time is getting tired.
