Microsoft would notice an upsurge in DLC sales every time they drop the price on something. All DLC should be slowly in cost after a set period. I'm not asking to have it made free (although that would be nice) - just reduce the cost after, say, 90 days. And maybe a second time after another 90 days. The second drop should be to half the original cost.

The reason these price drops are random can be seen in several previous comments.

If people know it will be reduced in price later, VERY FEW people would pay the full price. They can't just reduce the price on every item 1 year after release, or else a lot of people would just mark the calendar and wait.

I'm sure some people would pay full price, but many wouldn't, and MS knows that fact.

I agree that it's nice to see the prices fall, and it should happen to all dlc at some point, but I don't think it's enough to encourage me to make a purchase.

Forza was a good game that could have been great. I've invested enough in that game already.

Bring Down the Sky is FREE on the PC. Major promised us that if it was free on the other platforms it would be free on live. So What's up?

Trance Addix, Microsoft's marketing team might be smart, but this whole concept of charging us some 200 points just for some silly gamer pictures or a theme is not smart. That's my opinion and maybe several others but it won't change anything because there are people that still do pay for those and those are the people Microsoft are looking for.

Everyone who is trying to give advice to Microsoft---stop. You're making yourselves look silly; Microsoft has very smart people working for them that know exactly what they are doing. Everything is calculated and thought out, logistically. There is no point in talking about demand, profit, or any other economical intricacies.

tldr: Stop your bitching, and enjoy the new prices.
