Whether the launch of the NXE (and the fall update as a whole) is in November or December, I just wish it would come sooner (as in next month).

Considering the batch of new games that will be hitting in October I would really like to take advantage of the fact that the 360 will FINALLY be supporting my monitor's native resolution of 1680x1050. What with Dead Space and Fable II on my list and all. :)

Does anyone apart from me not like it? it's way to childish and if i wanted a a dashboard like this i would play my Wii and i know the free update is optional but it suck. i dont play PS3 because i dont like their games, i dont play Wii because it's too childish and i play xbox becase i like the games, dashboard as it is. Now it's turning into a Wii so bye bye live cancelling my subscription and i'm probably gona get a PS3 now.

I think it looks good, I can't wait to customise my Avatar... but the projected update date is just ridiculously long away.

I agree with Anon 144. It says "They should remove unwanted played XBLA games !! oh COME ON!! Microsoft the dashboard looks like ass with all these unwanted zeroes I cant believe this havent been done YET! I mean just let us delete unwanted games from our lists, this is just killing me like Playing a game that I regret playing and having a 0 on my games played its so annoying for a Completionist like me .. please Microsoft many people want this feature dont Ignore us!!

If this feature is including in the NXE, we then would be very, very happy!

Well, I am sure that, as always, this will break XBL for a few weeks, due to the sudden load on the system during update time.

Spawn a whole load of threads about people being wrongfully banned.

Plus not really add a great deal to the current experience as you tend to spend most of your time playing games, not messing around on the dash. Therefore, the only good feature will be the 8-way chat to your mates.

SOE called the last update for Star Wars Galaxies the "NGE - New Game Experience" and it was the update that killed the game. I'm not filled with fluffy feelings about the NXE - New Xbox Experience. :D

To all those who hate the Avatars. there's a real simple solution: Don't create one, from what i've read creating an avatar is not a requirement of the new update. Say what you will but there a hell of a lot better than the Mii's. I know the web is abounding with rumors of when this will release but the most credible (well, they've been right before) of sources seem to be pointing towards December, so don't hold your breath.

I hate waiting, my £40 isn't just used to pay for online games:/

I've been saying this for years, infact the WeeMee company is still in litigation with Nintendo over copyright infringment regarding the nintendo's "miis"

Why is it that you can demo the NXE at PAX, but you can't allow us to download videos of the demo afterwards? I'm sure there are YouTube videos posted. So why not just release an official Microsoft video?
