Call of Duty 4 let me play for a few minutes, and now it won't let me join any matches. Sweet! Glad I bought an xbox instead of a PS3...wait.

hi since the 24 hour up date i cannot play online i can connect to xbox live but cannot join in eny matches on cod 4 i have the 12month gold live membership and not to happy that im paying for it and carnt play and it keeps freezing

Yeah, COD 4 MP's taking taking the whole load of crap. Can't join any or create any ranked games. Private seems fine though.

hi ther since this so called update no matter wot game i go on i carnt go inline gameing including cod4 carnt join eny game at all and all my mates r saying the same im not happy with the service and if this continues i will noe be joing xbox live again

back up now but nothing new what a waste of a day do you know how many kids died that day and now the exp in halo3 is broken

I am personally a Network Technician (Not Associated w/MS)

To Those who don't understand these updates look at it this way.

When a New Service Pack is added to your Computer, It takes Time to Download, Install, And Restart.

I'm Guessing that it takes a minimum of 30-40 Min. Server Side to Download, and 45 min. to Update, and another 3 min. to restart.

It may only take us 10-15 min. MAX on our end but client side (i.e. Your Xbox) is easier to implement then Server.

im a little confused couldnt they make a clone network and test all this updates on it then move it to the real network once stable? CHEAP ASSES!

im a little confused couldnt they make a clone network and test all this updates on it then move it to the real network once stable? unless they did and it takes over 1hr up upload the new software.. they were smart to do it when the service center is closed though :) .. and to all of the people that are complaining.. sell your xbox to someone that needs it and go get something else and *** there.
