I tried downloading this whilst playing a round of Tiger Woods - and just like others it froze.

Currently downloading it and leaving my console alone - seems to be working.

I have FIFA and the online is great 10 v 10 - can't see how this is going to be better. Konami usually screw things up with the online every year.

if u have a problem downloading the pes 2009 where as the downloading of the demo freezes your xbox live just unplug ur internet from the xbox 360 and delete the pes 2009 as it has corrupted. then xbox live should work again.

Yeah i'm getting crashes when I try downloading the PES demo. I've bought FIFA and it's the first football game i've played that truly feels next-gen. I'm usually a PES fan though, so wanted to see if PES could top FIFA this season! But guess i'll have to wait or go buy a mag with the demo on...

I love reading denial posts haha gotta laugh at some of the posts stating that this very poor uninspiring pro evo demo shows us in any way form or nature that the full pro evo game is going to be a better football game overall than fifa 09 haha is it so hard for you guys to just admit that this time fifa is odds on to be the best ? fanboyism certainly blinds some ppl, this comments thread is complete undeniable evidence of that :lol:

Mine crashes as well. Deleting the download fixes the problem, however whenever I try downloading it freezes again

I picked up fifa 09 for £30 today as the demo was excellent.

I didn't like the PES demo, i've always been a fan of the PES series, (I hate the term soccer!!!) the passing is on the RAS, which is strange, the game play is not a good as previous versions.

I hope konami go back to the drawing board.

And to everyone talking about freezing - unplug your 360 from the t'internet and delete the demo from the memory section. Turn 360 off, plug t'internet plug back in, turn 360 on and restart demo. Don't turn off your console until the demo has been completely downloaded. When its 100% done your 360 wont freeze.

Another solution is to forget it and buy pro evo 4 or 5 for the xbox. Ok, its not bad... but it all feels rather clunky with players only being able to run in one of 8 directions - not fluid movement. Think moving a brick wall.

Overall, neither this or Fifa (although hats off to Fifa - its getting there slowly) is quite.... 'it'.

Yes Fifa has got better graphics, commentary, presentation, almost every license under the sun, is better online and the gameplay has improved over the years. BUT and this is a big BUT. Pro Evo beats Fifa hands down gameplay wise. It just 'feels' so much more like football and this is something Fifa has never (and will probaly never) achieve.

So yes Fifa has improved drastically over the years and beats pro evo hands down in alot of areas but gameplay wise Pro Evo all the way baby.

Why are you still blocking demos for Silver members?

Ridiculous policy - oh look I can download a free demo on my PS3 and buy the game on that format instead.

Please ask someone to change their mind on this Major - lots of Silver members feel the same way as me - M$ are upsetting their customers!
