I agree warren. It's a shame this game isn't promoted better. it's a great game even if your not a kid. there is no shame in an adult liking this game. with games costing $59.99 and many short weak games, this one is an great buy at $39.99. I wish more games were like this. I like when you have a good game like the original and then you just make it better in viva pinata 2. to many times people try and fix what isn't broken in these franchises and mess it up and make them cost more as well.

Isn't there a Kameo II in the works? I picked Kameo up for like $20 and one day I finally popped it in - thinking it was a kids game. Boy, was I wrong. It is actually a hard little platformer. Everyone is in awe over Gears of War's graphics, but the graphics in Kameo are keen on detail. Lighting effects and all. The game is fun too, but in doses (in my book). The multiplayer was cool as you can play on all the levels that you completed in single player. Though I did not buy them, a friend showed me the downloadable costumes (skins), they rock, but for the price. I'll look at them from a distance.

One more achievement for that game and I'm done with it and will be giving it to my nieces for Christmas.

Also, you mentioned 'Reloaded', was that the PSOne title with the giant-gun-totting-baby?

If you liked Viva Pinata, then VP:TIP is even better with up to 4 players (local, online or both!) in one garden helping each other capture and 'birth' new pinata is just awesome. I'm not going to download the demo as one of you already stated it lacked the Just For Fun option. Though that was not necessary, it would be nice if demos SOLD games. I kinda liked Viva Pinata, but Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise was EXACTLY what I was looking for - ONLINE assistance with capturing and designing my garden leisurely.

The scan card feature is cool, not as awesome as I'd like it to be (sorry, I've been wanting a SPORE-like game since Dogz by PFMagic and Oddballz) more diverse (and random) in its animals. But for $40 it WELL SUCCEEDS its enjoyment.

Its a shame this game did not get much airtime, advertising or promo time. Christmas bundle with the Xbox360 Arcade?

Warning: This game is played mostly by kids, though many are not foul mouthed as the Halo, Gears of War or Street Fighter Clans, there are a few adults who play also.

This game is awesome. I bought it the day it came out even without playing the demo first. I don't know the "old Rare", but I now that I love all the games I've seen from them on the Xbox and Xbox 360. I loved Conker: Live and Reloaded and Kameo and I really enjoyed Perfect Dark Zero, both multiplayer and singleplayer.

I still can't believe this game is $39.99. the first was $49.99 and this one is $10 cheaper and basically is the first plus extras. it's a steal at that price compared to $59.99 for normal games.

It should probably be noted somewhere that these demos are for Gold members only. The "all regions" statement is a little deceiving when it really means all regions that are willing to pay for a service that the competition gives away for free.

I feel Rare's talents are wasted, they could be bringing their back catalog of classic games to xbla like Perfect Dark 1. I would bet my left nut it would be the most played and best selling xbla game.

I'm having loads of fun with this game. Co-op gardening over xbox live adds infinite value and replayability. If you liked the first VP, you'll love VP:TIP. If you never tried the first VP, give this one a try. You might be surprised at how much it GROWS on you!

Wow this demo is pretty bad. The framerate is very hitchy / inconsistent... and that's without anything in the garden. They should have let you experience the "just for fun" mode in the demo - that's really the only thing that would have gotten me to buy this for the kids. Pass.

1/ This game is awesome, I've had it for about 3 weeks now O_o

2/ MS & Rare have done a really piss poor job of promoting the game and distributing it, I had to search around loads of stores to find it, in fact eb games only had 3 copies in the whole of Sydney when I bought it...
