Meh. But I am glad that the date is at least one week after COD WaW ... then at least I can expect some time playing the game before the NXE brings down LIVE for awhile (assuming major issues here)

I have a question what if you turn on active background download (downloads dlc's while the 360 is turned off can be found in the in systems blade) and download something off xbox.com will it download when the 360is turned off and active background downloads is turned on???

Well, at least with the NXE ALL Submit Player Reviews will be set and have to be re-cast AFTER the NXE launches. I'll just wait until Oct 25 to request all of my Gold Member friends to submit my reviews as Silver Member Player Reviews no longer count.

Because its annoying and if you played a lot of trials then it takes up alot of room on your played games list and thusly takes forever to scroll through them especially if you have also played more than half the actual disk games available for the 360.

I would like to know if there are plans to change the license transfer to more than just once a year I honestly Don't see why that information isn't saved to your hard drive, cause I have had 3-360's not cause any of them broke but just because twice times have gotten rough and I needed the cash. But besides that I plan to get an Elite for myself soon and give my brother my current 360 for christmas and I transferred all my licenses the day the tool came out so if I do get the elite I have to wait over half a year before I can take it to a friends house who doesn't have internet?

Why is microsoft telling us on videos and on

newsletters, blogs, websites, that this feature is a part of the new XNE?

They announced it as a part of the new update, so it has to be a part of the update that is coming..

That is like buying a pc without the hardware in it..!

I honestly wish they would just save all of their time and money and put it towards making the next console.

I mean seriously, lets be honest, the 360 is past the halfway point of it's lifespan.

Giving it a virtual facelift accomplishes nothing, especially since when I want to play a game, I spend all of 10 seconds on the dashboard before I launch the game and start playing.

There are a couple cool features, like the install to hard drive option, and the download from the website option, but the entire dashboard makeover is a total waste of resources.

The New Xbox Experience which is due out on November 19th will bring with it loads of new features, however one feature that won't be included as standard is the ability to share movies and photos with your friends online. However, the Xbox director of marketing has suggested that the respective 'missing' feature could easily be added in the future due in part to the improved structure of the Xbox dashboard.
