I just downloaded the demo and I've only played it for like 5 mins and I wanted to kill myself just to get the vision of the game out of my head. This game is probbly the worst Ive ever seen (and Ive played E.T. on Atri). I'm going to stick with age of booty for awhile. Atleast that has some game play to it.

"Rock on!" glad someone likes it. Now increase its sales so part two will be even crazier.(grin)

@Anon 22

"Hello!" I was late on the Dreamcast era, but my most played games were Virtua Tennis (the game that MADE me fall in love with the Dreamcast's controller - they were TRULY made for each other) and Street Fighter III: Third Strike.

I only got a small taste of Chu Chu Rocket, at first I thought it was just a Zoop knockoff. It was really good from what I remember.

Crazy mouse wasn't that bad!!

I found, for a cheap game, it's very laid back and light hearted.

YAY i thought!

I'll play the trial a few times before i decide if i'm going to buy

Hell, i've seen worse games than crazy mouse

Oh, you want to go 'old school'? Okay, let's try some releases with KNOWN Christmas 2008 release dates:

Xmen Arcade - 4 Player Co-Op Online
Simpsons Arcade - 4 Player Co-Op Online
Outrunners (Twin - The Arcade - with the same graphics, sound and game play) 4 Player Online Play
Yar's Revenge (Atari 2600) 2 Player Co-Op Online
Road Rash (a DIRECT copy of the 3DO console's but) 8 Player Versus Online (play music DURING game)
Gex (3DO)
Incredible Machine (3DO or PC) 4 Player Versus online
Jazz Jack Rabbit 2 Player Co-Op Online

Games I know that would make a splash if they made them just like the originals (graphics AND sound), but made the online multiplayer.

re: Arcade: CrazyMouse

I think the most polite thing I can say is that this is an example of what happens when someone reads my brain for the kind of games I like to play, opens the edit menu, clicks "invert selection" and then makes the result. I can't wait for the day they skip the invert selection part...

There's SO many old games I'd love to see remade for the arcade:

Another World/Flashback: stylish platformer, challenging and not THAT long

Wizball: the recent freeware remake (google retrospec if interested) is excellent but a bugger to play without a joystick. Left stick for controlling wiz, right for the catellite, a for fire, x for buy upgrade. Easy!

Racing Destruction Set: Custom made tracks shared over live, 4 player live multiplayer

Elite: Could you get any better game? The controls aren't that complex & could be redesigned to use the dpad for control menus

Cannon Fodder: As the theme song said, war has never been so much fun! It could be the Arcade's answer to BIA: Hells Highway

Paradroid: Classic robot capturing/destroying fun, could be made prettier and given a save system for easy & normal difficulty

Civilization: Revolutions is good and all but it was streamlined more than I would like. I'd buy the original.

Goldeneye: Mostly to shut everyone the hell up, I wasn't really much of a fan

re: Arcade: CrazyMouse

What a pile.

Here's a tip, Microsoft: STOP RELEASING BAD GAMES.

re: Arcade: CrazyMouse

Drubbing aside (and yes I wish it was Chu-Chu instead too) I see what they tried to do, and frankly I imagine it might be more fun, but the levels they decided to show off (I think the trials 3rd level was 19?) might not have been the best. That last one with two AIs was nothing but frustration, frankly.

I can see where it could be a bit of fun locally/online, but I think the wide-open boards with AI really suffers. Keeping in mind it's 400 points, I imagine some who take the plunge might find a bit of sleeper fun. It's got a different style and its own quirky mechanics, but as a solo player/what we got to see, yikes.
