I am feeling a little off about the Vader download. I am pretty certain that we were told the XBOX360 Marketplace users would not have to pay to download content that was free on another platform?

Is this download a change in this policy?

I was looking for confirmation of the rumor. If it's just that - a rumor, and Vader is truly not on the disk, then I would gladly pay for him. No need for trolling.

As for my original thought of Darth Vader (and Yoda on PS3), I REALLY thought he would unlock after a user played Star Wars: Force Unleashed and you'd get a note or an Achievement popup (Achievement Unlocked: Darth Vader for Soul Calibur IV). Marketing should have placed that in Soul Calibur IV. Just like how Alien Hominid was included INTO Castle Crashers IF you owned (or later bought) Alien Hominid HD. Creative Genius! If it was Hwang (Hwang Seong-gyeong) 400 points would be worth it. He is awesome, no matter if you are a seasoned fighter or not. NAMCO should have known better. A Tag Team (DLC) option like in the Tower of Souls to be in the Versus and Online Matches would have been awesome for variety of game play. Tekken 6 is coming. . . Read up on the posts about the Tekken Fan clans with issues with the standard Xbox360 controller. Easy fix, but will it be done?

NAMCO with the release of Tekken in the arcade, on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis new characters would be released on the arcade machines. This was exciting as EVERY WEEK there seemed to be NEW CONTENT! Happy-Happy-Joy-Joy, somebody got it right! Without an internet connection! Time-Release is GREAT! Mortal Kombat had a good cool feature 'Secrets', the best one being 'How to Fight Reptile'. What happened to that cool way to find stuff?

DLC for updates and such are VERY welcomed and awesome! But there should be limits to what is free and what is charged for. Granted we as a consumer do not have to buy extra characters, cars, items, levels, etc to make the game necessarily better. DLC should always be for added kicks to the game. I'd love to see a Master Chief-like character cross-over into the Gears of War universe and a Brumak-like creature cross over into the Halo universe. All this stress and people losing their hair and blood pressure going up over a game. WHAT EVER happened to collaboration!? Aren't we all on the same team? As for the current DLC, hey take it or leave it. I came, I bought the full game, I wished for Vader, Vader came but with nothing I was seeking - can't create a character based off of him, Yoda or The Apprentice (yet?). So, I'll pass for now until something of interest comes along.

I haven't seen this video yet, so being able to download and view in HD is a nice way to do it for the first time. Sweetness!

C'mon Major, aren't you guys going to ban those pirates who are playing Gears of war 2 on Modded 360's. It's an absurd to see them playing that 13 days away from it's official release. Simply ridiculous.

At least when you play on PSN you know and are sure, the guys are not playing pirate copies.

Microsoft, please do not let Xbox live become infested with modded users, once again I suggest you ban their gamertags and not only the console.

Down with piracy on XBL. The NXE is for legit users only. I won't stop complaining until you do something

Now, with that said, DLC has a description of saying all things attained in this download can be attained with game play. Heed that before purchase. As for Darth Vader, my friends bought him, he's NOT worth 400 points. 50 points, yes, but IF that DLC allowed me to model a Character Creation of Darth Vader, Yoda and/or The Apprentice, THEN I would have gladly paid 800 points - customization baby, that's what people play a normal (not ranked) match to do - show off their creations and fight. The better your character looks, the more you may lose as Namco put all the stronger powers in the most ridiculous costume and weapon items. Darth looks cool, but I will wait until we can make a character based off of him, Yoda and/or The Apprentice or until he is free as is.

Well, being one wo ordered the Limited Edition of BOTH Soul Calibur IV and Fable 2 (I also bought Halo 3 Limited Edition - not worth it - STANDARD worked just fine in afterthough), Soul Calibur IV was worth it, Fable II, after they took away so much, the Halo suit, though cool was not worth it. They got me. I've also ordered Gears of War 2 Limited Edition for the GOLD PLATED LANCER "BAAAAAAABEH!" and the books and videos. Upon entering my Free Use-Once Code on Soul Calibur IV and started the game, I unlock Soul Edge AND got the achievement for it. Now, along with that, I received 'Limited Edition' items, such as the coat that my Barak Obama and John Mccain characters wear, along with their loafers. People who DO not have the Limited Edition point that out all the time. Though I have a friend who's unlocked everything and said that everything I got with my code is in the game.

I'll end up getting vader today and then actually start playing Soul Calibur. It was also awesome to have the Bioshock 2 trailer for download. It got old really fast watching youtube videos from people that had the PS3 version of the game.
