Zoofill, It's pretty obvious they are not doing anymore previews this weeks. It's only 2 weeks away from official release so i won't count on it.

I'm from the US and I got in.

Why are a massive amount of people sniveling because a few thousand people got accepted via survey, into a pre-launch beta? I can understand "Oh darn, I didn't get in!", but getting pissed, ranting, etc... just seems a little childish. Kick and scream, it's a mandatory update on the 19th.

Also, game magazines and other various game related media houses got the NXE to preview quite a while ago. I didn't hear people boo-hoo'ing their faces all over forums/comments/shoutboxes then...

I've had no problems with the NXE- everything works as it should. The HD game installs is very nice, and makes the update worth it all by itself. It can take a couple runs to get familiarized with the whole new interface, but once you do you'll find it's much quicker to navigate (including the XBOX Guide button menu).

My only suggestion so far... more work could be done on the avatars. They are fancy and all, but sort of bland. Heh, the first thing my girlfriend said when she saw them was: "Can I be an animal? Those are dorky looking". I have to agree. They are a bit on the dorky side. But I can see why- for the greater good and all. Still, I hope we see some serious updates to that side of the NXE.

nobody in the u.s got in, this was probably a marketing scam to get people to buy 360's in europe and japan because sales are so low there.

U did the leak too or something?

I cant say you will get an update on GH4 (no such thing), Gears 2 (dont play gears), Cod5....i miss not having Live to play that. :(

I said i put in Aerosmith and it prompted me to update.

NeGxRAiD3Rs7x how come i can't get on live i tried everything even playing guitar hero 4 and gears of war 2 and call of duty 5 still no update u said u got a update how come i didn't get that update on gh4 i tried it on 4 of my consoles.. at least i got home beta on the ps3...
