Well I'm going to argue with FourZeroIW simply becaue he multi-posted....

COD WAW is pretty much identical in format and gameplay to all previous COD titles deciding to forgoe real inovation for Zombies and a change in theatre. Sure, it will be a great game, but I doubt its going to do enough to bring in that many people that aren't already COD fans.

Oh, and Anon 71, that's the first time I've heard any mention of how box art affects video-game sales in a long time. Thanks for bringing that up!

*sigh* If only Bad Company didn't have so many small flaws, had clan support, had team chat, and had more content it would still be on top 10. And maybe a better box art (I can't imagine anyone buying it without hearing about it first because the boxart turns them away).

Its really annoying to hear ppl speak about the worlds best game that won 43 awards and stayed number one(well almost) for a year.

Ppl say Gears of War 2 will beat Cod 4 for number one spot.

Well Gears of War didnt and if Gears 2 does then good luck. But I feel that Cod World At war is awesome and wouldnt be surprised if Gears gets number one when it is released and Cod World at War beats it for number one spot straight away, because in my opinion it is brilliant, I enjoy the Cod 5 beta and cant stick Gears of War and prob wont enjoy Gears of War 2.

Come on Cod World at War show them...........

p.s. I love cod 4 and am not a chav.

Nice to see Fifa at #5 and Fable 2 there too. Fable 2 is actually a hell of a game, surprised me a lot. Gear 2 is gonna dominate the list next week, but I doubt Cod4 will loose 2nd place, since the games are so different. CoD4 is still very good online, specially in the Hardcore playlists.

So Oo Sonix oO, some demos need to be full on demos kind of like the Crackdown demo. With that you VERY WELL knew what you're getting - a huge world, real world weapons that are crazy good, online co-op and just plain pure fun. That demo sold me big time. Though I do not care for the antics or the game of GTAIV, nope, not for me and I purchased 2 copies AND the $20 strategy guide.

I guess my point would be, some of us play the demos and assume the FULL VERSION is going to be levels better than the demo just to find out AFTER we've purchased the FULL VERSION that we've held our expectations too high. And yeh, I voted for Hillary. (If you can catch the irony in that).
