Wow, some real super highway robbery going on right there. I guess EA is going to try and milk every cent they can from Dead Space. Here I was thinking DLC was a ripoff last year and now look at those prices, they are going up!!! LOL A fool and his money are easily parted. Each to there own I guess.

Amen SUFFEL77! This really makes those in the video game industry who whine about being ripped off look like total hypocrites when they're doing the same thing by nickel-and-diming gamers to death with DLC that should have already been included in the game to begin with.

I understand that it's certainly not cheap to make these technologically sophisticated games currently on the market and that they need to make their money back somehow, but like it was said, when console gamers are already being charged extra for their version in the first place, it's just a slap in the face to then turn around and include these kinds of ridiculous and trivial micro-transactions on top of it and ends up just leaving gamers feeling frustrated and disgruntled about the industry as a whole (which is what inspires people to turn to piracy!). Charging for DLC should only be for things that add more to gameplay like extra levels, maps or dungeons, not things like this that add only cosmetic changes or only alter the gameplay slightly.

I'm certainly by no means endorsing the practice of piracy, but I can see why some people would turn to it when rip-offs like this continue to happen in the video game industry.

I just had a look on the marketplace and the spanish fifa09 commentary is saying it features italian commentators, might be a good idea to edit that description a tad unless the italians are speaking spanish

this is major bs. All this stuff should be on the disk and most of all FREE. Game insutry is whining all the time about piracy and then they rip off the people who actually still buy high priced games which cost 10-20$ more then the pc version.

they better stop this milking.

The Phantasy Star Universe expansion (Ambition of the Illuminus) also dropped in price (from 1600 to 800). I wonder if anything else was changed.

According to the news on IGN, the English commentary is a whole new set of dialogue compared to what's in the normal game.

Seeing that content almost makes me want to go out & get FIFA 09 because I remember playing Midway's Redcard soccer game on the Gamecube & it was 100x more fun with non-English commentary.

Hey does anyone know anything about those new commentary for Fifa 09?

i already have english commentary on my game, and was wondering if the new english commentary is the same one that comes with the game? or is it a new one?

dont wanna have to download 500mb of commentary if i already have it :P

Wow, I'm glad I saw this before I bought Dead Space. This kind of stuff should be included in the game to start with. There's plenty of other games to play by companies that aren't interested in ripping off the consumer.

I think I'll buy Left 4 Dead instead.
