Yeah you have a completely different problem then what i had. Did you clear your cache at some point? That wipes all your game updates and is why all your games probably need the update. (I am assuming)

Good luck getting that fixed with the team, looks like you are in good hands now.

Nevermind about my issue. It turns out my ethernet cable's little snappy thing was broken off and the cable kept falling out of the back of the Xbox. Problem fixed now!

It started disconnecting me every 5 minutes, on Nov. 18th, never had an issue before.

I forgot to mention I'm in the NXE beta testing. I haven't been able to connect to LIVE all day long now. The connection text passes expect when it tries to connect to Xbox LIVE that part fails. I don't know what's going on, but I have a feeling it has to do with all the beta testers.

BTW downloads still not working.

I'm still not able to connect. It'll connect sometimes and then not connect for hours at a time. I thought this was fixed?

I'm having the exact same issue! I don't know why it's occurring or anything but sometimes I can't sign into LIVE and other times I can get in (sign in very slowly) and have this happen...

Die you communist bastard!!!! Just kidding. Look people are frustrated over this problem, but at the end of the day it was Microsoft's responsibility to plan and ensure that the system needed to be protected. We, in our lives do anticipate problems to arise and we need to react, but once more Microsoft knew far ahead of time that such a large update on the infrastructure was to occur and the engineers needed back up plans a,b and c. And I am sure they did, but they need to take ownership/accountability for this f*** up!!! As a community, this is what we are asking for.

Man - I had a 48 hour disco, but I am pleased to say its all working dandy tonight. In fact I seem to be connecting to more halo games than normal so I'm hoping some good has come out of all this.
