wow all this sounds all very cool, how you can install the game into the hardware and others cool new features......MY XBOX GET THE E74 ERROR(red light on the bottom right) on the night NXE came out....HOW SUPER DUPER GUYS!!!

Is everyone mad.. the NXE is rubbish..

In the UK the ONLY advantages of it are: 8 player chat (should have been there from the start), deleting 0 GS games (I could live without) and.. erm.. thats it!

Its still too slow (in some cases even slower), avatars are rubbish and a waste of time and space, and the menus make no sense whatsoever.. also not letting me pick a default menu is retarded.

The way to find everything was bad in the original dash so I can see why it needed changing, but the stupid NXE style flipthrough is just worse in every way.

Avatars are so cool. The premium themes look really nice with the NXE. And everything is so much more organized.

Now that I can formally come up for air. I love 'the NXE'.

The entire Dashboard is fantastic & so easy to navigate. After I downloaded the update, I went straight to NETFLIX. I can't belive the video quality is so good. Plus it allows us to leave our ratings after watching the movie/tv show (or before if you like).

Great job Microsoft.

I am really enjoying the Netflix capabilities on NXE. Two thumbs up. I also like the new layout of the dashboard. My only complaint is that there are not enough options for the avatars. Being a girl, I like clothes, and there are not many to choose from. I am also disappointed with the predominance of short/medium length straight hair. I can't wait for the first set of avatar updates/DLC.

Silverlight will never gain marketshare if they don't start using it.

So they are being retards for using it, and retards when not using it according to you.

I was looking forward to number 5 both for home use and use at work but sadly Microsoft's Flash want-to-be Silverlight is required and I can't install that on the computers at work due to security restrictions and I can't install it at home either because my hardware/operating system combination isn't supported in the current version. And to think I was laughing about the xbox.com homepage still using Flash because Silverlight is such a failure right before I found out the online marketplace required it.

P.S. oh yea forgot about the phone. No Silverlight for it either. Why couldn't they have just used something standard instead of being product lock-in tards for once?

When I start iTunes I don't get hit with a barrage of lousy ads.

I should be able opt out, if this were PSN a free service, fine.

But XBL is a paid service and I should be able to customize my dash.

You could probably call this an ignorant viewpoint, and to be honest I don't care, but if you want "games for tykes 3 to 6" then go and buy them a Wii.

Furthermore, say you start drawing in more children. Say these children get microphones and Xbox Live Gold. Say these children get games they shouldn't have.

BOOM, more people on Xbox Live who shouldn't be. Do you want to play a (larger) bunch of screaming kids online? Because I certainly don't.
