Okay the Demo is now online on Germanys Marketplace so take a look at this Game because the Game is not so bad as i thought

The demo is really short. Really, really short. Gameplay seems real good. I love how the demo ends but I don't wanna spoil it for anyone. Gonna buy it.

Boris Schneider Johne (the german major nelson) said on his blog that the demo will be available in germany soon.

XBL people were just lazy and forgot germany.

So we will get it, just a little later.

You won't be getting any massive speed boost in the 360 from a faster HD, it already uses pretty fast drives.

Sure the 20GB is 4200RPM but the 120GB is 5400RPM. Test done on 7200RPM drives show them to be very little benefit on 2.5" drives because they just slow down the seek performance. Basically, 5400RPM drives are usually faster than the 7200RPM ones at this size.

Even on the desktop, they are making 5400RPM Drives now that are faster than 7200RPM drives of a few years ago but FAR more reliable, cooler and use less power. The last thing you want is to stick something on the 360 that uses more power and generates more heat.

Don't let the demo throw you off, this is by far the best single player game this year...and we are at the end of 08 not the beginning. I had so much fun playing this game it would be a crime to pass this up. No I don't work for EA :)!

Wow, really disappointing demo. Like said above, you're thrown into a zombiefight being completely confused and then you die.

I thought this game was a mix of bioshock and gears but this demo made it look like complete toss.

the demo probably doesn't do the game justice, based on what I'm reading here. This is a must-play game (but not necessarily a must-own game).

I downloaded the demo (USA), and tried to play, but the game never loaded...all I had was a black screen.

What gives?

Oh yes, I will definitely download this. I have been thinking about trying out Dead Space and this will demo will decide if I will or not. I am doing all these downloads through Xbox.com. Its pretty cool how you can queue up downloads from your computer. Still kind of sucks that the downloading won't start though until you actually turn on your Xbox, and by that point you could have just went to Xbox Live Marketplace on your console. You guys should find some way to have it start, even with the Xbox off. Wait a second, I am not even sure if that is possible.

I just downloaded it straight from my Xbox, the online marketplace is really slow. I'm going to keep it old school :)

Enough with the "why won't this feature work?" comments, let's actually talk about the Demo. That is NOT how you demo your game, EA. How could anyone botch the demo process in this day and age, especially the world's second-largest publisher? Giving me a single room with four guns, and then being automatically killed once I exit said room, is not fun. I had this game on my list of "Games I need to rent/buy someday", along with BioShock and Mirror's Edge. Now, I can scratch Dead Space off that list.
