@Alex Atkin UK I wonder if your ISP is causeing any connections issues etc? Like possible filtering stuff?

Your the only one I have heard of having this issues. I am not sure and I could be wrong but thats what it sounds like to me.

I have been having problems with Live for days personally. It just randomly kicks me offline and even when playing UNO, I am lucky to get through a whole game without at least one other player getting booted out of the game.

This is bad timing as I had a router problem too recently, but I fixed that (it was causing lag on Live due to too sensitive UDP flood protection) and everything was fine for a while.

It seems things have not calmed down since the NXE launch.

Also Party mode is aweful. I tried to get 3 people into a game of UNO and Bomberman, it just doesn't work right especially in UNO. It brought 2 of us in but the third person got left out. On other games where ideally there is 4 players, if there are less of you and you bring your party in you can't always let a fourth random person join the game. A bit of a let down after claiming it would work with ALL games. Or maybe its just related to the Xbox Live problems? I can hope.

That's easy.... Portal on XBLA is not meant to be your first run through. It's achievements are geared more towards puzzle solving. IF you want story progression achievements you will need to play Orange Box.

Though Portal:Still Alive does contain an achievement if you beat the game without being shot. Also if you drop a turret into acid, if you knock a turret over with a camera, if you get one of the rocket guns to shoot its on missile down and there is that one about finding the chicken. These are all achievements for story mode....

Came back up and worked fine for a couple good hours of RB2. Great job to the team getting it back up so quickly. That was really wierd though, I'm curious to know what happened. Hopefully you guys'll make mention of it on the show next week.

Looks like it's coming back up. Just had a hour and a half session with 3 other people on L4D and had no issues at all.

Yup, complaints with Live are starting to show up on various forums.

I'm ok with a couple downtimes a year but this is going on #3 and it's starting to get a bit ridiculous since I am paying. I would have the same response if my telephone, power or cable TV had issues. I understand nothing is perfect but after a couple times the patience is out.
