I dont even have nor want a PS3 but I went to a friends house that has one and was in the beta and I was like "Well at least Sony finally won at SOMETHING this generation". Those avatars make these things and Miis both look like kindergarden drawings.

Hopefully The Maj is mentioning some of this to the MS Team, e and possibly some of them are coming here and looking it over and devising a plan. Not to rip the money out of our pockets, but to offer us all something we can enjoy. MS has to be a little cautious - check out the innocent application SPORE and the offending things that were made with it. Negative. I know we all want the Color Palette to be opened up, but MS has to have reasons for not making it available. But then they do have the disclaimer "We are not responsible and the ESRB is not responsible for online play." so I do not why it will not be available in the future.

Christmas is not here just yet. May we hope MS will understand "Please Sir, can we have some more?" - in regards to Avatars and Avatar Clothing Items. I'm sure they will release loads more at one time eventually.

Things real;ly were not thought out much regarding avatars, they could of been great...they ended up being lame!

re: The winter collection is now available for your avatar

"Xbox360 Pro: $400 U.S., Xbox Live for a Year: $50 U.S., Avatar Item Color Palette: PRICELESS"

Hopefully IF and WHEN it is released it'll be something like the palette selector like Soul Calibur IV - example, a hoodie could be one solid color and the pull string can be another color. Two separate palettes for one piece of clothing. Or a ringer tee that can be white with black cuffs (www.showyourlogo.com/.../ringer-tee-shirts.jpg) - my fave!. Or a tee shirt that can be green with yellow cuffs (www.nflstore.net/.../gble60.jpg)

The gamerpics for shirts and such would be welcomed - that alone would add a load of diversity amongst the avatars and promote more games.

As for rip-off, I truly doubt that. There was A LOT of that crap and is a lot of that crap on there. Caleb68's work is pure, clean and VERY WELL thought out. Textures calibrated for loading (into cache), no clipping polygons and such. He's not stonemason (Stefan Morrell), but darn close, but NO WHERE as detailed. Usually you can tell the knock-off and ripoff crap, but some people like it if it is cheap enough (which it usually is to get high ratings). I still have not re-textured my apt. The default textures are getting old, though visitors do not seem to mind. It would have been awesome IF IMVU would share info with Microsoft or MS BUYS the information. Having IMVU's diversity would satisfy the masses and make MS and entirely NEW IP or IPs. But until they buckle down some of this nasty coding and/or give users the ability to have The Previous Dashboard, NXE or correct quite few other issues, diversity will be released slowly. That bites, as with all new things, slowly, but surely.

Well, from my experience and my friend who is like one of the top selling Dev's since that one girl who got banned a long time ago (2 or 3 yeas ago), the IMVU Team are a bit arrogant. My friend found TONS of glitches in the IMVU Previewer. He was showing me how to do the 'thump-thump' vibration for my boombox with a sliding gif. Well, after TWO hours, still no result he found a work around, but knew I was not going to do such a complicated technique JUST to 'wow' my would-be customers. My Dark Carousel is 'broken' as one of the music tracks does not sound off. I've gotten a handful of complaints, but it is priced very low, but still I DO need to fix that. The IMVU Previewer ticked me off that much. No need for me to complain about it, my friend made a forum and he and other Dev's discussed it. Search the forum for posts by caleb68. He usually invites me first (guinea pig) to read to make sure what he is saying makes sense, but I RARELY post as the first time I did so, too many people put in waaaaaay to many requests. Attention is awesome, but too much is TOO MUCH. "Thank you, Goodbye."

A kind of Home equivalent for the 360. Now I'm glad nothing of that nature got made, as it would've meant thousands of rip-off products, extreme low quality stuff and arbitrary moderation/flagging that makes Little Big Planet look unmoderated.
