Hahaha, I'm doubting you've tried playing Rock Band and still think it's absolutely pathetic.

Just because you haven't played it doesn't mean it's horrible.

As for me, I'm definitely picking up The Colour and the Shape. 1200 points for that is a damned good deal.

Well I don't normally comment, but after reading all the negativity I felt compelled! I just wanted to say thanks a TON for this awesome deal! I've been wanting this album since it came out but couldn't justify it until now! GREAT DEAL!

Already bought these tracks.. damn. Lesson learned, I'm not going to buy anymore RB tracks till after this deal stuff is over. I really want the no doubt tracks but willing to live without them to see if they go on sale.

Pfff that's no deal daing look at the prices!

Anyhow where's the good stuff which we all want to see you know a FREE arcade game or so?

Those are deals, I think most of the content on Xbox Live are way over priced, Why doing content if 8 out of the ten games will have a successor within a year? There is no replay ability anymore this way. If games would be apart a bit more say two to three years the need to buy content is way better for the replay ability. I know still lots of games buy it and that's a what they choose to. Still older content should be get a discount price like games in the story and not for one week or only three months no! this should stay low priced or even free.

Although like I mentioned again and again the players that have gold account and pay for the service should get more credit and free stuff.

Don't get me wrong! (dejavu warning lol!) the Xbox Live service is the best there is (for now)! Hmmm what if Apple made a console and get a supper online service like Xbox Live but with the stability of Mac OS hmmm that would be sweet.

Well got to say this is really a load of crap! Super stingy MS with one item a week which is very specific. So far this has been no good for me as i dont have either games!

This is how stingy MS are, here in the UK value added tax (VAT) has been reduced down to 15% instead of 17.5% Has MS passed this on? No because they've class it as a voucher which is exempt (loop hole in the law!!!)

The way i would of done this sale isnt 1 thing a week but a few things for example each week 1 arcade game, 1 piece of downloadable content, 1 theme, 1 picture pack and even 1 film are reduced for a week. This way your giving a lot more variety to the sale which will attract alot more people! What do you think?

Actually they don't lack anything in the marketing department.

They go like "let's put up things that sell totally bad for a bit cheaper (but still overpriced) or put it up that maybe more ppl buy Rockband/GH and call it "Holiday Deal".

First they screw everyone but the US with the Black Friday... then they announce "blow-offs for everyone else" and then this is blasted again cuz not everyone owns Rockband...

That's an absolute slap in the face for people like me. I paid full price for Foo Fighters on RB2 and then you go and lower the price a couple weeks later? That is absolutely pathetic and I'm really mad. What about those extra 400points? Am I going to get those back? Of course not - MS isn't in the business of giving back.
