I just got around to downloading a few tracks a couple days ago. They played great at the little get together I had. Even prompted a few of the reluctant ladies to pick up an instrument.

This is great. Harmonix found an album I'll buy. And I'll tell you why... it's a compilation album. Now, original albums are great and all but 9 times out of 10 I know one or two songs from an album. But this... I knew 10 songs. TEN! So I purchased the album to show Harmonix some love and to show them they nailed it this time.

BTW... some of these are harder to sing than I remember while in the shower or driving to work. You've been warned. :p

It also helped that their DLC works in the original Rock Band as I've not been convinced to get RB2 yet.

We need a bit more variety like this in Rock Band. Some of these songs are terrific. But where are bands like Queen? Surely they would licence Greatest Hits I and Greatest Hits II? Queen would be a perfect fit for Rock Band as they were, at core, a lead guitar, bass guitar, lead vocals and drums, which exactly matches the Rock Band instument set. They are great songs to sing along to and would be a nice contrast to some of the 'heavier' stuff on Rock Band. We haven't had a Queen track from Harmonix since the original Guitar Hero (Killer Queen, and that was a cover, albeit a very good one).

Son of a ***. I don't have Rock Band, but I do have the album itself.

I should listen to it again. Pity that 2 songs are missing from the DLC.

If you're going have the entire album as a DLC for Rock Band, at least include all of the fucking songs.

I hardly EVER look at the Rock Band DLC and now No Doubt is up (on Xbox Live) Ha ha ha, the irony. Nine Inch Nails Pack 01 - March of the Pigs and The Perfect Drug have been on my waiting to buy list for a while. Hmmm.... "Step right Up......!!!"

I guess it'll be up by the time I get home from work.

(P.S. PLEASE say the Street Fighter HD Remix themed content is still on schedule. Are we ever going to get a 'video' of how long it take to process a theme into Xbox Live like Harmonix completed for how long it takes one song to be processed into Rock Band playable content?)

Yeah, the link doesn't work and when I find them on the web marketplace it says the item is not valid in my region (US). Guess there are still bugs in the system. Sucks as this was the first time I really had a use for it. :(

Major Nelson just put it up early on here.. It won't be available for 20 more minutes (2:00AM Pacific Time--US) as that is when the marketplace updates daily (Monday-Friday).
