well i really enjoy the new look. i think the avatars are a little to cute and fluffy. some video game related atire would rock. also achievment would score you trophies, atire, or avatar attributes related to the video game. i.e. a ninja sword if you beat ninja gaiden.

I would agree that video marketplace in all locations, and netflix or something similar in other areas would greatly increase xbox live usage. Come on we're almost begging you to take our money hehe.

While I don't get any network lag I do get horrible delays in the gui every now and again. This primarily happens when I bring up the friends list after pressing the xbox live button. Seems it is gathering information and locks up the whole screen while it does it. I know the console is working though as I have had voice chats going at the same time this occurs and they keep going like nothing is wrong otherwise.

Also, are there any plans to release Mechassault (the original) on the Xbox Live Arcade? Or at least make this game backwards compatible? This was a flagship Xbox Live title that has gone unsupported and it shouldn't be because this is still one of the best Live titles that has ever been made.

How about giving us Gold Members a larger friends list? I've been on Live for almost 7 years and I have played with more than 100 people on various games, so I think that boosting it to 200 or 500 should not be that difficult. Limit the number of 100 to the Silver members.

I'm seeing how others in other countries other then the U.S. are complaining they have to PAY for LIVE and don't get all the stuff the people in the US get! Well get over it!!!

What your paying for is ONLINE Gaming!!! In the US it's also Netflix ability. Anything and everything else you can get being a SILVER FREE User!!! I'm not trying to be mean, it's just FACT. You are paying to Online game with others, any content you may have access to on your 360, you would still have access to if you didn't pay for LIVE. Now Netflix is a US company. If you had half a brain, there are ways to get content in other non US country's and stream it on your 360 if you want to!!! There's for example a $30 piece of software you run on your PC called PlayON. It allows you to stream onto your 360,or even your PS3 and other devices content from Netflix, HULU, CBS. CNN. ESPN, and Youtube. Now if you had half a brain, there are ways you make your PC look like it has a U.S. IP address which then would allow you to stream this content right to your Xbox 360!!! The only one you would have problem with is Netflix as you need to PAY for it where the others are free, and you'd have a bit of a problem signing up and dealing with Discs. All the other places, No problem, have seen it done on Youtube. Now cry me a river someplace else. Here's a Idea, how about some European company come out with their own Game Console. No one is stopping them. Then you can have things more to your liking over there maybe. We in the U.S. and other places can then complain I guess. Do you complain this much with the PS3 also?

14-million members huh?

Any chance we can see how many unique IP's connect to the service, or must we really pretend that 14 million members is anywhere close to being acurrate?

FWIW, I have 4 GT's on my 360, and I know I'm not alone in having multiple tags. I would guess the total is actually closer to 7 million unique IP's, than it is 14 million.

Manipulation of numbers is fun for a while...but it'll catch up to you eventually. Just ask Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac.

That was obviously a joke, but I find it pretty amazing that UNO could experience such an increase in sales, when it was already one of the top arcade games ever. It is very rare for UNO to not be in the top 5 on the arcade activity list, which is a list of weekly sales. Granted, we didn't get to see the list for several weeks and I can think of one or two times it was maybe 6th in the list, but it still has to be one of the all-time best sellers. Which begs the question - Who is still buying this game? It has been such a hit that I can't imagine there's so many people who don't already have the game.

Or, as I've pondered before...are the sales numbers each week for all arcade games relatively low? Interesting, either way.
