If you are in a country that does not have LIVE support, and you're using an account from a LIVE supported region, no it won't work. Why? You are not physically located in an officially supported LIVE region. Simple as that.

Well that blows Finally get internet sorted here in malta and go to buy it from my UK account and I get the "Not available from your current location" error that I constantly get for any games with any violent content because of Germany!!

All Live regions my ***!!!!

Yeh, I usually research the game and check youtube as I was not an Xbox owner (still collecting retro games and systems). I like having my CD (box and art) and letting my friends borrow it and give me feedback on the game. To a point of emulation, it is like asking "Do you want a REAL diamond or Cubic zirconia?"

I would have bought Dreamfall or Jade Empire for 600 points without a second thought. Instead it's the shooter that birthed the word 'noob'. And who could forget 'owned'?

Such a grand legacy... how could I possibly pass that up?

True the Xbox Originals do not have the lovely Achievements programmed in. But I'm sure ALL programmers can READ/DECIPHER the code, no matter the game. IF the games were programmed with 'progress codes', a simple 'achievement code' could be easily compile into the conversion and tested. A beta test of the achievements (open ONLY to those who are LE users - as they'd love to flush those achievements out in a heartbeat). The achievements only have to be 200 GP.

Something simple such as Achievement Unlocked - Pass Level One 10GP (etc), Achievement Unlocked: Completed Level 3 Without using a Grenade 20GP etc. The best achievement: 'The Money Maker', Achievement Unlocked: Learned the Complete Secret of the Halo (this is ONLY awarded AFTER playing and completing ONLY the Xbox Original Copies of Halo and Halo 2, but you own Halo 3) 50GP. That way, I would buy them just for the achievements, but also enjoy the story at a much more interesting pace. It WOULD be MUCH to ask if online co-op was added to the Xbox Original titles. I'm not a huge Halo Fan (and since I own it on disk, but do not play it much), I'd pick that one up for the achievements.

I still own Halo and Halo 2, I joined Master Chief (Master Chef as I used to call him as an ignorant noob) in Halo 3. I love Halo's 'nostalgic' textures and graphics. Oddly enough, the warthog was NEVER easy to maneuver to me in any versions!

This is a nice download for people who can't buy it on disk. But the ONLY game I see worth MY interest is Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel without a Pulse. I read up on that game while doing some research on Dead Rising and Brutal Legend - 'zombie' pulled up a hilarious links and low and behold it is on Xbox Originals!! I'm going to buy that next year AFTER my HD upgrade.

UNO Rush sounded great, but we will have to wait. What I REALLY want is a Theme with the QUALITY of the Kameo Deck. Not to dis the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix deck - its cool, my friend loves her deck, but being a fan of the game, I had it pictured and composed in my mind a certain way. I look forward to the Gears of War 1 and 2 theme decks, a Call of Duty theme deck, a Crackdown theme deck and possibly a GTA IV theme deck (I'd LOVE to 'steal' someone's deck with the 'Niko Card' and then add more to their hand AFTER the switch).

That's IF these decks ever get created. One can continue playing the Kameo theme and the PGR theme as Elimination to keep it fun.

Woo-Hoo... Sounds like a must have to me. I missed out on the whole Original XBox generation, and joined in with a 360. I've played Halo3 and got Halo 2 on back compat... Now I can finally see how the story started! :-)

For everyone who is moaning about no achievements on the XBox originals - it's far too much work to reprogram games to add in a feature like that which was never in the game to begin with. Often the original coding teams are no longer in place, and there's not much benefit to the publisher to add in achievement support just in case someone buys an older game. There's much more benefit for them to create a new game and try to attract you to that one.

Essentially the XBox originals you are downloading from Live are exactly the same version as is on the Disc you would buy second hand in Gamestop. There's no achievements when you play those via back compat, either.

Let's just enjoy them for what they are ... I know I got Psychonauts over XBL and don't regret a second of it. Even without achievements.

Thought about buying it.

Actually I read review and saw pictures of it and now - don't think i will.

The Graphics and achievements of the lastest 360 Games spoiled me too much.

I'd be disappointed.

Like...buying...playing 2 hours...never play again.

That's 500 MSP go to waste.

Nice offer though!
