Sorry for the double post but I registered and wanted to officially throw my hat in the ring. I live in vegas and would love to represent 360. My history with SF goes back to 1987 and was into the tourneys in the mid 90's. Let me know if you can use me.

I agree with most of you guys... GO TEAM 360!! I am envious of the 20 guys that will be going, and now I have another question. Will it be possible to play in the net against PS3's? If it is, way awesome! If not, duh... to bad.

Wow, FunkyCD and Anon 5, you sad a mouth full that made me literally cry once, but I don't care any more. I'll skip out on this and nominate: Bushi no Eire; Mister Chief 13; MKVSSF; Shadow Kisuragi; shutyrum; The AWI; TUBBY1313 (not in that order - but worthy opponents by all means). They seem to have a handle on that D-Pad and the arcadesticks. It sucks a 'warrior' is defeated by a lame D-Pad. google: kgr top 10 This topic never gets old and we wonder if companies (Capcom and Microsoft) will ever follow: www.flickr.com/.../2695194250 . The standard xbox360 D-Pad controller hurts your (my) thumb after minutes of continuous play. That's not including loads of unintended commands - even when I win! I used to play the SNES and PS1 versionS from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Saturday for months - no pain whatsoever or mistaken moves executed no where as near as on a default Xbox360 controller. The MadCatz helps a lot, but not the same. Thanks Maj, I'm going to sit this one out. Though I WILL want to see some video footage of the fights. They sure to be hot and aggressive and not people just hoping around in previous pre-plays.

We have a serious disadvantage if they end up using console controllers as the PS3 D-Pad is waaaaaaayy precise and better than the xbox's D-pad.

Go Team 360. Erm, Major, I know that Glasgow, UK, does not sound as glamorous as Las Vegas, but if you ever fancy hosting an event in a place where the sun never shines, the locals are rude, the gas expensive and 3G coverage is patchy, well, then come to my home town.
