Braid will end up winning most of these, but im still curious how N+ is up for original game. It's a port and update of a PC flash game called N (hence the +), so how is this original? I really wish the Banjo was up under Family Games because I would have a very difficult time refuting it there, or under the classic/remake heading.

N+ nominated for level sharing? Is that a bad joke? The game didn't get the level sharing it was designed for, Microsoft forced the developers to disable that feature.

I'm really disappointed with these nominations.

There were many more arcade games released this year.

How do the nominees get picked?

And furthermore, why is Lost Cities not available on Marketplace anymore?

Braid does some very interesting things and certainly enticed me to pay full price, but it doesn't deserve top spot. HD Remix has a lot more thought and energy behind it from a gameplay standpoint, and deserves much merit. Castle Crashers is also worthy of much praise.

Marketplace is laggy as hell for me too. It "hangs" constantly, so bad to where I dread even using the dashboard for anything anymore.

@Guino and Corphan - I think the problem is related to gamer profile size, and possibly manufacture date too. When my brother with a gamerscore of 6k-ish and an Elite from late 2007 logs on, it works fairly quickly.

However, when I log on from my 2005 Premium, despite having a 120GB HDD now, the marketplace takes a lot longer to load. And my gamerscore is in a similar region to yours, so your profiles are probably 14-17MB.

Just a thought. Still, didn't happen with the Old Xbox Experience.

i agree with Big Guino ..when i press the guide button to bring up the mini blades they often freeze,and it can be about a minute before it unfreezes,and again with the marketplace when looking at items,they take forever to load....as much as i like the NXE,i didnt have this problem with the old dashboard...and waiting for my friends list to load up(appear) takes forever as well

Yer i would, if the DASH DIDN'T LAG SO BAD or didn't take FOREVER to the market place items etc.

When or are you ever going to fix / patch the lag ???

Arsenic;I totally agree with you. The censorship on the Xbox forums is also over the top.

Even the word "damn" is censored. One of my friends was banned for using it or something equally inoffensive. In this side of the world it is not even considered rude.
